Ignore the somewhat old fashioned decor... This hotel is great! It's immaculately clean, very comfortable, everything is in good working order and the staff are extremely professional. The room is bright, the price is good value and it includes a good breakfast. It's close to the river front, palace and museum. There's a restaurant downstairs but also plenty of choices...

Secured, comfortable bed and good running water. These are three basic items I look for a hotel to recommend it. Service? That's not a priority because a constant traveler must know how to adapt to the environment especially the people. Food (breakfast included) is good for those in a diet. Near bars so if you are sensitive to noise then...

Stayed one night in this hotel. It was close to the riverfront but far enough away to be quiet. The staff were very friendly and provided a great service. The hotel has it's own restaurant and the food is cooked fresh. There is also a bar area for relaxing in. The room was clean and provided all basic amenities, including...

many tourists would easy pass on this hotel given its not on the river, though because of this it is excellent value for money, if it were on the river you would pay 3 times the price. you can easily take a driver to the river or simply enjoy the short walk. There are many good eating places in the...

When we travel we don't book ahead, but arrive and see what's available. We had no luck finding a reasonably priced guesthouse, they were all a bit grubby and about $20-$25 a night, which we thought was overpriced. So we checked out a few budget hotels and stumbled across The Silver River Hotel, which was clean, spacious and was only...

Terrible customer service. Used their laundry service and they lost one of my shirts. After I went to enquire about it they said they would look for it and contact me shortly. I had to keep asking them, only once did they call my room. They ended up accusing me of lying, promised to call or e-mail me (this was...

We have stayed here 3 years ago & based on our experience rebooked for anoth 3 nights. Needless to say we weren't disappointed. The rooms were clean & well thought out & provided all the basic amenities you require, inc wifi & a filling and varied breakfast (tea, coffee, fruit juice, cereal, fruit, Asian choice, pancakes, toast, etc...). Great value...

The room was compact but clean and had all necessary facilities. The lobby is large, has free internet on two PCs kept for guests' use. The location of the hotel is a sure advantage being close to the river front. But during my stay it became a disadvantage because the police had closed vehicular access to the hotel due to...

Pros: location is walking distance to the Sisowath Quay (river front), Royal Palace, National Musuem. Interior wise, it's pretty standard and alright, nothing to complain. It's also quite clean. I had to catch a flight in the early morning and I asked them to prepare breakfast for us. They are kind enough to prepare for us. Cons: I asked for...

For the standard of hotels in the city it is above average in what it aims to offer. I stayed for 2 nights, it was a good stay, but nothing memorable. The room has all you need and are very spacious (at least mine was). Good location, everything in the centre was in walking distance. Front desk staff were good...
