The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right in the middle of the riverside area. The room was OK, clean enough, although the bed was pretty hard! Breakfast was OK, but that's where the positives end. Our welcome at reception was fairly ordinary, compared to others we have had on our trip. Reception was often unmanned which wasn't...

We stayed here 1 night in a deluxe room. I will start with the positive points. Location is good, it's at the river front and there are enough bars, shops and restaurants in the neigbourhood. Room size is OK, our room also had a balcony with river view. Dinner and breakfast is good. Friendly staff. NEGATIVE: The airconditioning in our...

Our room was clean and spacious with a wide range of television channels on the flatscreen TV as well as free wifi. We paid extra for a room with a balcony and it was worth the money as we had a beautiful view of the the Mekong River and the main boulevard. Staff were very helpful and assisted us with...

I had a room on the river, staff were good and had no problems at check in. Spectacular sunrise from my balcony, bed was comfortable and they had a great shower. Breakfast comes included and it was substantial, good coffee too.

Called in here on a recommend from a fellow traveller. Super (purchased) breakfast in the cafe downstairs, not sure if you get that thrown in if you stop here - coffee served in a cafetierre good for 3 cups was a nice touch, and jolly nice coffee it was too. Was going to book a room for 3 nights. To...

This hotel had one of the nicest rooms we'd had during our stay in Asia but to be honest, once I'd walked up all of the stairs with my bag, I'd have been impressed with a lot less. The bathroom here was great and had the BEST shower we'd had in a long time. The pub downstairs where breakfast is...

Stayed 2 nights Aug 17 and 18 in a suite room. Had balcony and good view of Sisowath and river but downside of front rooms such as this is lots of noise from sun-up from street. Room quite small, Tv even smaller. Location a plus and bar seems very popular with tourists and expats. Food was alright, bar icy cold....

The website AGODA.com advertised the Paddy Rice Hotel as a Euro-owned and managed 3 star waterfront hotel. Well, after walking up 4 flights of stairs carrying my own bags, in 36C heat and +90% humidity, (and no air conditioning) I was seeing stars. The closest view of the water was from the bed, while looking up at the stains on...

Stayed there with my friend in early june 2012, For the price with breakfast was a bargain and what i really like about Paddy Rice is the location. Just sitting at the bar facing the Mekong River is very relaxing. It's smack in the center of riverfront area so all the bars, massage centers and food places are all walking...
