Beautiful and relaxing swimmingpool. Clean rooms. Very good wifi. Great staff. Janny is a great and understanding manager! Our room was a bit to hot and they immediately did everything to fix it. If you want some rest and peace in Phnom Pehn Billabong is the best choice!

I stayed in the 6 bunk female dorm and was pleasantly surprised at the amount of space in the dorm! It was lovely to have an ensuite bathroom as well even though it can take awhile as people get ready in the morning. The place was clean and I had a great 2 nights' sleep here. My only gripe would...

The Billabong Hotel/Hostel didn't disappoint on how it looked on the photos posted. Booked in a 5-female dorm and the bed was huge (they were not bunk beds at all) and comfortable. I always had a good sleep. AC was working very well, lamp shades, desks, towel, chairs, hangers were available and enough space to put and hang some of...

I had a rough time in Phnom Penh. I visited after a volunteer trip up north and went to meet friends at Show Box the first night I arrived. I was violently mugged 2 blocks from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and understanding and helped me in my situation (losing phone, cash, etc.). Crime seems pretty common in...

Very nice dorm with amazing rainshower! Comfy 5p female dorm with normal beds instead of bunkbeds. Nice pool and good food. Staff is friendly and competent, although the male staff is more competent than the female staff according to me. They can arrange everything for you like buses and visa.

The Billabong Hostel was very clean, the 5-bed dorm was very comfortable and the lockers were very big. Plus, the swimming pool was great. The only cons: to me, the buffet breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was $6.50. But I recommend the place!

Anne-Sophie, Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your next visit. We try to keep the food items as cheap as possible. There are other options like the free flow coffee and juise for US1.50 and the eggs and toast for US$3.50. Best regards and travel safe. Billabong Team

After reading the positive comments on this hostel I was quite disappointed. The hostel facilities were good but I was not impressed with the customer service. I've never written a negative comment before on TripAdvisor and have travelled through many hostels in Cambodia and everyone has been very helpful. The girl that checked me in was nice but the receptionist...

Sara Jayne, We are training and working with our staff to have better service and keeping everyone satisfied. Its an ongoing job and we appreciate your feedback. I have spoken to reception and thier intentions were not to be rude and they are sorry if you felt that. The food in the restaurant ranges from US$2.50 for chips to the...

I stayed for one night in one of the 6-bed dorm rooms. The room seemed newly renovated, it was very clean and spacious and had a plug socket and shelf by each bed. Beds were comfortable, ensuite bathroom was lovely and the shower was great! Staff were all very polite friendly and efficient, and being able to use the full...

Safe, relaxed, clean and comfortable in the heart of a crazy awesome busy city. Surprisingly quiet considering the noisy streets just outside, only a couple of blocks from Central Markets. Friendly and helpful staff took care of all my needs, from great restaurant recommendations, to transport to cooking classes. I particularly enjoyed the pool area and the great breakfast. I...

Loved staying at Billabong! We booked into an 8 bed Female dorm and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious it was. Secure lockers and beautiful bathroom. Loved the pool too! If anything, food was a bit expensive in the bar but its centrally located so you could find cheaper places to eat if you wanted to. Great stay!
