As a first time visitor to Cambodia, I feel very fortunate to have stayed at Anise Hotel. Not wanting to stay at one of the giants near the river, I chose a smaller hotel, and am very happy I did. It is conveniently located, and even in the midst of all the mega buildings going up all around it, Anise...

For a hotel in this price range, it's an ok stay. The staff were great in making our stay more comfortable, when I noticed mosquitoes in the room they sent someone around to spray, however I do think that a plug in mosquito repellent or a mosquito net would be more effective and less pungent on the nose. They even...

The staff here are awesome. Very friendly and extremely helpful. We checked in to a balcony room. The bedroom is spacious and well appointed, there is a lot of potential for the living room though....maybe a comfy couch and big screen tv would be good? The bed and pillows unfortunately are rock hard. The staff did organise a foam mattress...

Within walking distance from city centre and key tourist attractions. Rooms are clean and basic, but shower water is intermittently hot and cold and pressure is weak. Pretty lobby with bar and some beautiful birds on display that will wake you in the morning.

I love the Anise! For the last 9 years I have stayed at the Anise with a group from the USA. I only have praise for the staff, atmosphere and restaurant. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. It's like our home away from home.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights and found it quite good. It is located near the independence monument. The location is undoubtedly good. Service is also nice and staff is ever smiling. They have good information regarding services of transport, city tour and other stuff. Overall, A good value for money and highly recommended for everyone.

We stayed for two nights between Siem Reap and Sihanoukville. The location is great, many restaurants, bars, and cafes in easy walking distance. The onsite restaurant was fine - nothing exceptional - but good for lunch after traveling and the happy hour special was good for Angkor draft (95 cents a mug) but mediocre on the rest with $3 cocktails,...
