Old-school hotel, not renovated, but clean.
One morning the breakfast hall was just empty, and staff sleeping on the couch.
Wifi is slow and ask room in the middle of the building near the rooter, otherwise you will be without connection.
And I hate low water pressure in the shower.
Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Might be a good choice for short stay, but don't forget to remind that you need breakfast... ;)

This is a pretty mediocre hotel, given the glitz of some of the newer places in Astana. It's a renovated old building, but it still needs work. The first night, the heat was stifling, even with the windows (zero degrees outside) ajar. The breakfast food is dreadful. The staff, though, is cheery and willing to help. The most amazing thing is that the hotel bill consists of a single tiny piece of handwritten paper, with just one total--nothing is itemized, not even the per night cost. More
