True boutique hotel in the heart of Vientiane recently renovated in a traditional/modern Laos style. They have a nice bar on level 4 which is great for sundowners. Friendly staff, lovely rooms, good food, close to everything - shops, markets, cafes, street food, bars and the Mekong - what more can I say :-)

It was a wonderful stay. My room #507 was overlooking a charming temple (Wat) and the other side of guestrooms as well. Level 4 has a charming cozy library / lounge bar overlooking the river. Comfort, very friendly staff and superb location with everything in walking distance lus great breakfast.

Overall, we'd recommend this hotel: The staff were lovely and the location excellent. Wiang Jan (in French Vientiane) is a lovely city that slowly makes you part of it. One wonders why the owners felt the need to pipe dreadful American and British Christmas music into the breakfast room every morning. This is 2015 and anyone who can afford to...

It's funny how we considered Vientiane as a must-do stop with very little expectations. The city ended up being a good surprise with a nice comfortable boutique hotel, good shopping, loads of restaurants to choose from and a pleasant little charming little city full of temples to explore. Our room was on the third floor facing the Ong Teu temple....

Our room was spacious with a huge emperor sized bed. The ground floor breakfast room had good views of street life - opposite the temple - and the breakfast itself was excellent. It was a short walk to the waterfront and the night market and the excellent Makphet training restaurant was just around the corner. We walked to the Spirit...

Luxe hotel with thoughtful touches (lovely toiletries in the bathroom, iphone speaker dock) and an amazing breakfast spread including european and asian options and fantastic pastries and coffees. For the attention to detail and level of service you receive, the price is quite reasonable by western standards but on the more expensive side for Laos - if you're looking to...

Nice hotel in an interesting part of town. The included breakfast was a nice combo of local and western food. Proximity to the night market by the river was convenient and taking a morning walk by the Mekong was cool. An unexpected treat was a glimpse at alms giving in a quiet setting right beside the hotel... Much less hectic...

The building is 100% authentic. The woods, materials and design of the hotel are really neat and charming. The room was very nice. I had a top-floor corner room (Suite), which cost a little bit more but the view and setup is worth it. The furniture and fixtures were very high-quality stuff probably made locally. The amazing coffee table for...

A fabulous place to stay all around. Every thing is lovely. The bathroom has an over sized jacuzzi, The staff are all wonderful. Room 603 has a corner view of the temple and the Mekong. Beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Worth noting things close quite early in the neighbourhood.

I only stayed for one night here ( was supposed to be 2 but issues with border closing earlier into Lao) but the hotel was a pleasure to stay at. Beautifully clean and decorated. Make sure you get out of your comfy bed for breakfast as it was so good. Location of course is fantastic, just a short walk to...
