Location is central downtown Vientiane. Most businesses and restaurants are within walking distance. The room was a little small but well equipped. Staff were all attentive and helpful. We ate in their restaurant and it was okay. A few times during our 3 day stay we lost power, a little inconvenient but not a major issue.

We found this beautiful place through TripAdvisor and stayed 4 nights in a Salana Suite on the 6th floor, we had a corner room, 603 and would highly recommend it. Lovely and spacious with the largest bed on the planet!!! A Super Kingsize. This hotel is incredibly convenient to everything and you would be disappointed if you stayed at a...

I can hardly express how happy I was that I cancelled my reservation at another hotel and decided to stay at the Salana. From the moment I stepped out of the taxi I was given a warm welcome, a welcome that was constantly repeated and always felt very sincere. Every member of staff, from the reception to the cleaners, from...

Stayed for two nights and trully loved it. The room was lovely, big, comfortable, well appointed and most of all superbly clean. Staff was professional and kind. Had a 2 hours blissful spa treatment. Awesome and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good too. Location excellent!!! Defenitly recommend this hotel.

On a jaunt through SE Asia, my partner and I found ourselves with a few days in Vientiane. We booked with Salana because it came highly recommended and it appeared to be pretty centrally located to a few restaurants we wanted to eat at. We arranged for pick up from the airport with the hotel, which handled it professionally and...

The Salana Boutique Hotel is exceptional. We stayed here in September on arrival in Laos and were welcomed 'home' with great charm after two weeks of incredible travel on the Mekong. This time we have had two nights and three glorious days. The hotel scores 10/10 for comfort, style, luxury, value, food and service. We cannot fault it. Location is...

We stayed here recently for 3 nights. We couldn't fault one aspect of this centrally located hotel in Vientiane. Upon check-in we were greeted with a refreshing cold drink. Quick and speedy check-in by courteous and professional reception staff especially "Ton" & "Da". Breakfast was a delicious spread of a variety of Western & Asian food. Restaurant staff couldn't do...

A very good hotel in the center of Vientiane. It's not very cheap, but it's worth every penny. The rooms are clean, spacious and have good beds. In the bathroom there's a rainshower, which is very pleasant. I had my birthday while I was staying there. There was a knock on the door and 3 people of the staff were...

It was our first time to charming Vientiane. We definitely made the right choice in booking Salana. This is no mass market hotel. From the pickup (USD$10/1-2 pax) to the checkout, everything ran smoothly. The staff deserve all the praise, from the bell boy to waiters, to the concierge, who seem to take on multiple roles simultaneously. They are always...

Fantastic hotel with very friendly staff and outstanding food. I was more than pleased here with the friendly staff, the great rooms, and the western sized bathrooms. There was a great lounge on the fourth floor that made you feel at home. It is called "The Living room" and you feel at home. Breakfast was terrific with a great with...
