The Mixok Guest House is a good style of accommodation which is in the central tourist area and directly opposite the Mixay Buddhist Temple – situated at the intersection of Rue Nokeokhoumane and Rue Setthathilath. The rooms are clean and comfortable and priced between 16 – 20 USD per night. It has a nice relaxed restaurant area (indoor and outdoor)...

I stayed here for 3 nights. The place and furniture looks quite old, room was never cleaned (maybe you have to ask for it...). Still for the Vientiane prize niveau it was good value for money. Staff was nice and helpful and the place is very central not far from the riverfront. It was always loud in the morning starting...

Fine for a night or two. We found it quite expensive, given the prices we have paid elsewhere for really good accommodation. Also, wifi did not work in our room meaning we had to use it in reception. But completely fine for a night or 2. Aircon works and generally quite clean.

We've stayed at Mixok Guesthouse on a number of occasions and keep coming back! We always have a great stay here and this time was no exception. The location is great, right in the heart of the tourist area in Vientiane, close to the Mekong and many restaurants and bars. The rooms are simple but large and have very comfortable...

This guesthouse was purely fantastic. We booked initially for three nights, but my husband and I both got fairly sick with bad colds and booked another three nights. the manager helped us out with this amazingly, as well as booking bus tickets to konglor. Absolutely fantastic service, great breakfast, so ideal that it has it's own restaurant attached - with...

Stayed here for 3 nights, I do find it hard to find decent accomodation for a budget price in Vientiane, but Mixok delivered all. Breakfast included was really nice, their rice soup is delicious! Room was clean, staff was friendly, and I will defo recommend...and I would stay again! :) So many places around that are so/so, this is one...

The price,110,000 Kip for a single with a/c,TV,private bathroom with hot water, only 10,000 more for a double,Breakfast Included!! They always had friendly and competent service at the reception desk to answer your questions or book onward travel.

The location of it is perfect, it's centre to everything you need. River, night market, restaurants, cafes, pubs and temples. Very reasonable, price wise. The wifi is ok. Good enough to allow you to book and research stuff. Includes breakfast, which was delicious.

We made a booking online and paid through agoda. Arriving after a long bus journey we were met by the receptionist holding a hand written sign at the door saying 'full'. Once inside we explained we already had a reservation. After taking our details and looking at our passport, he said there was no room here our room was at...
