we didn't stay at Mixos, but had some food there - great value for money, the cheese sandwhich is absolutely delicious and the iced latte is great, in taste and size! there is also free wifi, but this sometimes stopps working (seems to be normal in Laos though). with the terrace by the street it got the flair of a...

We stayed here on our way south from Luang Prabang. It is a typical Asian style room, small but serviceable. Clean enough, though worn. We were on the 4th floor (no elevator) on the street side so traffic noise was very loud. We did stay on Friday and Saturday nights so maybe that's why it was so busy? The breakfast...

We paid 125.000 kip a night for a nice spacious room with two beds. The room faced the main street outside and we had a unique view onto the temple opposite the Guesthouse. We give the rate excellent as although the hotel is somewhat timeworn it is very clean... the bathroom was absoulutely the most clean among the 11 hotels...

Stayed here after trying a few other places in the area that were full and was satisfied. -130,000 for a double bed w/ ensuite bathroom, A/C and free breakfast (nothing to rave about, but the omelet and baguette meal was fine) - Located near the riverfront and a bunch of restaurants, which was nice - Quiet and w/ window, but...

Paid kip100.000 for a single and for that I got a partially effective A/C, tv and wc with hot shower. For the price I paid it was clean enough, no issues with any nasty bedding or bugs although I did have to spray the room to see off a few mozzies. AC wasn't fully functional so a fan would have...

I stayed in this hotel on 19.11.2014. If you stay at this Hotel you will find spiders, mold and very bad beds. Unfortunately we did not check the beds when we arrived, so when it was time to go sleep, we discovered the worst bed i had during my 3 month trip! Lying on the bed i felt the metal...

After arriving, we checked a couple of places and decided to stay here. While it is a little bit expensive, the rooms are simple at best. Basic and clean. My friend stayed in the room one level below and managed to get what appeared to be Bed Bugs! Our room was clean, the breakfast included in the price (you cannot...

The Mixok is for 22usd , the best deal going in a hip small tourist enclave which is vienthiane . One block from the Mekong , the Mixok is close to all things whether you want coffee , wine. Or just sit watch . A free breakfast with a delicious French baguette and eggs makes it value plus .
