The Riverside Hotel is a good value for money (inexpensive) hotel at $15-$20 per night. The best things about the hotel are the location, steps from the Mekong River and the friendly staff. The rooms have AC, cable TV, and are cleaned daily. You can walk along the riverfront park, and enjoy the sunset as do hundreds of Vientiane residents... More

The Riverside Hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Mekong River Promenade. Fair-priced with about US$ 24,- for a room with a/c and tv. WIFI for free in the lobby, but if you are lucky you get a weak signal in your room, too. Breakfast is included, but there is not really a room for it, this should be changed!... More
