I realise you can't expect much for the price. However this hotel terrible. The room was dirty, the toilet wouldn't flush and people could see into the bathroom from outside. The room was dark and dingy. At night the reception was full of motorbikes. The staff were polite though and it's not a bad location. You can get much better...

I stayed two nights at Chindamay in my trip to Viengtiane. It was cozy and nice guesthouse. The rate was good. Its location was very convenient for me to walk around to visit temples, the Patuxay, the night market, and even the Pha That Luang - the biggest temple in Vientaine.

The room had a tiny window facing the hallway, but not much fresh air circulating. Rooms have a decent size. Overall the floor and beds are clean, but need a thorough cleaning session. Bathroom was alright.

When arrived at the hostel having not booked a room, we had seen reviews and were more concerned about location so wasn't overly bothered about seeing the room but all the same would have been nice to be offered, or even shown the way up. The general appearance of this place is pretty run down to say the least. The...

A bit of a creepy vibe, staff pretty useless and disinterested, rooms make you feel like you are in prison. I said "hello" a few times and was just blanked by staff members. Oh and I was given a quilt the size of a small towel to sleep with, it actually felt like a floor rug. Very confusing.

On my way from Thailand to Laos I booked one night with Agoda. My arrival to the guesthouse was going to be around 10-11 at night so I wanted to speak with someone to make sure there will be someone there when I arrive. I called their phone number provided by Agoda about 10-15 times over 3 hours, no one...

This was my third stay here; guess I hoped there would be improvement but this was the worst of the 3. The internet SUCKS; they say there is wifi on second floor but NONE of the passcodes allow access; they could not get it to work either, thus; to use internet here you must sit in common area downstairs. My...

Very small rooms. If you are looking for something cheap and close to things, this is your place. Wifi is not that great in the rooms. No elevator, so only stairs. Some restaurants nearby. Good for a budget.

This was our first visit to Vientiane, so no comparison to any other places to stay in the area. Firstly the staff were lovely, really welcoming and friendly. We booked on line and paid around £10 per night ($15) for a double room with air con. There were lots of other places of similar prices, we chose this one because...

We were looking for a cheap place to stay in Vientiane and found Chindamay through Agoda. We checked the place first before booking. The rooms are very basic, but it has airconditioning and en suite toilet and bath, for about 11 usd a night, it wasn't bad. Consider that they also have unlimited supply of coffee, then it goes to...
