The hotel is about a 20-25 min. walk to the touristic center of Vientiane, so it’s a mixed blessing: nice and quiet, though a bit of a distance to the places you want to visit. Our room was upstairs, with a nice shared balcony. The hotel & furnishings are rather old but the beds were fine. Breakfast was included, but...

This Villa has such great bones it is a shame the owners don't take better care of the property. From check in, when they could not find keys for a room I had booked months in advance to finally realizing it was already occupied ,we were put into a huge ground floor room which was fine. The pool was great to...

I'm on the fence with this one. We stayed in the family room which had 2 rooms and a bathroom. The rooms are very big, certainly no problem with size, but also quite dirty. We have no problem with older furnishings and wear and tear, but these rooms had dust bunnies throughout, and everything was grotty. Power points were hanging...

We stayed for one night and loved it. The villa is built in a French colonial style with lovely surroundings and is filled with a lot of objects that gives it a nice museum feeling. Our daughter was very keen to explore all the hidden corners and chase the owner's dogs. We were given two rooms connected together which were...

We were looking forward to our stay at Villa Manoly after reading reviews on Tripadvisor and had booked for 2 nights; however, we were so extremely disappointed with the condition of the room and particularly the beds (room 208) that we left after one night! The a/c unit was noisy and was dripping water on the floor and the bed...

We had a nice stay here, the villa has a beautiful setting, and it is in a quiet area. It's about a 15 minute walk into the centre, not a problem. We had two connecting rooms which were very clean and comfortable and the shower was one of the best in Laos. The breakfasts were not great, only eggs and...

We were looking forward to staying here based on the reviews. We occupied two rooms for three nights and felt obliged to move at that point because we had realized we were getting horribly bitten at night by bed bugs. We couldn't have brought them because we were in separate rooms and one room had just arrived from Europe and...

We stayed 5 days at the villa with a child and a baby. The hotel provided us a baby cot, we took the family duplex. The place is not new but it's clean, breakfast could have some fruits in it but the owner was giving us the ones coming from the garden so it compensated. There is no room service...

The Villa came recommended so we went to check it out for our last 2 nights in Vientiane. We immediately liked the look and feel of the place. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The manager was friendly and fun to deal with, and his singing is not too bad either :). The pool was lovely after an...

“We had booked a double room with balcony on the ground floor near the pool but when we arrived, were told these were unavailable, even though our booking had been made months in advance and was confirmed in writing by the owner. It would have been nice to have been informed if the room we had booked was unavailable prior to our arrival.”
