We spent 2 nights at the hotel. The views over the river were fantastic. Rooms were quirky, good size and clean. Breakfast was at the bar next door Spirit House which was very good. Due to the flooding in 2008 they are raising the road outside which has unfortunately changed the outside area. Still a good place to stay.

This is a nice hotel...clean, friendly house keeping staff, fairly well maintained. Also they own a restaurant right next door that serves good food and the breakfast is decent. On a down side my girlfriend had something put into her drink on a night out in Laos, that night she got sick in the bed on a sheet, the pillow...

We stayed in Vientianne for 2 nights, and were so pleased we chose the Hotel Beau Rivage Mekong - and asked for a river view room. The room was very well appointed, and we enjoyed both nights watching a storm roll in enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the Mekong. Thailand as a neighbour was a little noisy over the...

Lovely hotel and excetionally helpful team. Open bathroom may not suit those in a twin share room, depending who you're sharing with. The restaurant downstairs served up some delicious food and the cocktails were the best we had in a two week holiday. All this was complimented by friendly, attentive and knowledgable staff.

This is a decent mid range hotel. I just hit it at the wrong time I think. There is a lot of construction going on right in front of the hotel so the noise from the dull dozers and trunks starts up around 7AM and continues to about 6PM. It ruins the great view which is one of the selling...

A four night stay in a thrid floor room over looking the Mekong. Purpose built Beau Rivage is decorated tastefully with traditional Lao silk weavings, contempory Lao art. and colourful, coordinated decor. Room layout was well-thought out and were kept spotless. The upper level rooms were reached by an intriguing free-standing staircase giving the feeling of climbing a tree to...

This is a very nice choice in Vientiane. The pictures posted on this website don't really give the rooms justice: they're far more cosy and charming than they seem. The hotel is very clean, with a good and friendly service and a nice location. We were there during the rainy season so after the rain it was not very pleasant...

This is my first negative review of a hotel and it is temporary, the roadworks in front of the hotel have turned the road into a sea of mud, if you happen to stay when it rains you cannot avoid walking in it. This could last until October, hopefully another reviewer will advise when. We left after one night, for...

Excellent boutique hotel, very nice spacious room, nice location facing the Mekong a bit away from the busy/touristy section of Vientiane but only a short walk to the sights, restaurants etc. Good light breakfast, setting you up nicely for another day of eating your way around Vientiane!
