This time I took kids and family to this place, although the place is new, clean, comfy/cozy rooms, but the staff and service has been really poor on this stay (we stayed over a week at Rs,8000 per night, maybe they get tired of serving guests after the first couple of days), I hope Mr. Karim gets to read this...

Whether you are traveling to Islamabad for business or pleasure, New Cape Grace is a great choice for a safe and budget friendly stay. The owner Mr. Meghji was very helpful, courteous, and prompt in all his email correspondences with me, while I was doing my research on guest houses in the area. When I landed in Islamabad at around...

If you're going to Islamabad for consulate / visa processing, this place is highly recommended, they'll provide cab service, even wake you up if you ask them to, and you feel safe being there. This place is about 8/10 miles from the Consulate Area and usually you need to leave around 5 or 6 in the morning to reach the...

Our room was great, the service was excellent. Staff is very friend and cooperative. The facility is in need of a face-lift as other guests pointed. The food and water is expensive but the location is ideal, very close to Pir Swaha and Minal restaurant. Also close the markets and shopping mall. Would recommend to anyone travelling Islamabad.

Back in Islamabad for the fourth time and I again chose to stay at my favourite New Cape Grace Guesthouse. Mr Karim Meghji and his crew are very serviceminded and they make you feel really comfortable. It is a "Family-atmosphere". The rooms are clean and have AC that keeps the room chilly during hot days. Free wifi. Food tastes really...

Good points: great host, very helpful and fluent in English. He owns and runs the place himself so he's usually there during business hours. He'll hook you up with everything you need. But that's all the place has left to it now, the hospitality. Bad points: the place is quite run down and with a government shut down looming ahead...

I chose the New Cape Grace House because I didn't want to stay in a 5-star Western hotel in Islamabad for security reasons, and the reviews of New Cape were very good. The location is secluded and quiet but it meant our driver had difficulty finding the place, a feeling made worse by our own irascible state from arriving in...

The scheduling for my 3 week trip to ISB was tentative and my stay at any hotel was to be intermittent. With the flexibility & cooperation NCG offered, I ended up staying with my extended family for the entirety of the 3 week period. The tradeoff being I commuted long distances via private, reliable & safe taxi services arranged by...
