Pretty generic hotel with average level of rooms, service and meals. Lobby staff really couldn't answer any of the questions we had about Tashkent. The staff were unable to offer recommendations about things to do in Tashkent. Though the hotel has a bar, it does not serve alcoholic.

Not much to look at from the outside the Shodlik palace is clean quiet and restful. The rooms are large and bathrooms modern and large. But it is a Siviet style place which lowers the aesthetic value while giving adequate creature comforts. The neighborhood is nice for walking and lots of small cafes around the block. I'll be back again...

I have stayed here several times over the past year and this review reflects all those stays. It's nothing to look at outside and the surroundings are crumbling, but inside it's fine, if a little impersonal. If you are on a group tour you may well find yourself staying here anyway. Guests include regular groups of older tourists (German, French,...

This is a good choice hotel to stay in Tashkent. The rooms are comfortable and clean if not ultra modern. The breakfast is reasonable and there is free wifi available on all floors. The bar is open 24hrs (!) with friendly bar staff. Close to the metro so very easy to travel around the city.

Good hotel. It is located very close to a metro station. Rooms are clean. There is a restaurant and a bar and the breakfast is oke. The best of this hotel is the staff. All very kind, especially Akrom. Very friendly and helpful. I felt at ease at Shodlik. Thanks a lot!

I stayed here for 1 night on a tour of Central Asia, First impressions where poor, a very utilitarian style building a little run down looking, but when we got inside it was nice, clean and cool, receptionist was efficient and helpful, The room was spacious and the bed and pillows where the most comfortable I have stayed in it...

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and we had a very comfortable stay. The room is spacious and so is bathroom. Comfortable bed. TV is really outdated. The stadium view from the room is good. Excellent Wi-Fi, the best we experienced in all the trip. Location is great, the nearest metro being Mustaqilik Maydoni at approx 10mins walk...

Hotel is a short walk from an interchange station on the Tashkent metro so transport links are very decent if a bit bland. It's a typical business hotel. Rooms are clean and breakfast is solid. Decent WiFi available too. Rates are in USD at the bank rate so do not commit the schoolboy error of paying by card or in...
