But some of them are too small with a cement wall view. The lobby was dusty and there was a useless security gate that didn't work...

One night Stay convinced me to bookingu Alain shen In Istanbul. A bit of a taxi/ shuttle ride from airport but you will not be disappointed. Great views, comfortable guest rooms. Professional service, delicious restaurant and overall a very fine hotel. Clean, sparkling marble floors, and very well appointed. Very safe and a must stay location.

I chose this hotel after long searches and reading many reviews. I don't know what are the check lists of a 5 star hotel but I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel. Hotel Location is great for easy walking to Taskim square. Behavior of the staff was very excellent with guests. I wrote to Ms. Suat...

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The locations is pretty good, pretty much the top of Taksim, close to a metro station. The first room i stay in wasnt great. the window looked into an enclosed space, so there was nothing to see but a grey wall out the window and naturally the lighting was great. The second room was...

Clean comfy rooms, room service not bad (chicken Cesar good but do not get the cheese plate) staff not very friendly but get the job done. Location: a busy dusty road which is not in the best location around Taksim. All in all ok.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
