It is OK, but they are not perfessinal. My room was small & clean. Breakfast is really delicious. It seems staff are not trained for a 4-stars hotel. They have good & friendly behavior, but they do not know how act like a perfessinal.

Felt that our well-being and belongings were honestly taken care of. Ferit was like a papa hen, always watching and helping. This, I really needed. (The day after leaving, I fell and broke my arm.) The breakfast (included) was fabulous. The room upgrade was easy to get. The location was absolutely fabulous. Near many shops and restaurants. Just a few...

Location was great- easy to walk to all the hot spots! The staff is friendly. We are a family of 3- the 1st 3 nights we stayed we were in one of the "upgraded" rooms with 2 beds- it was great, clean, spacious & stocked for 3 people. When we returned to Istanbul a few days later for a night...

We recently stayed in this hotel. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the doors. It's an ideal location for all the hot spots of Istanbul, with many restaurant, bars and shisha places close by. The added value has to be the roof top restaurant that has one of the most spectacular views. Furthermore, the staff members have...

We stayed in Arden City Hotel Oct 3 thru Oct 9. When we checked in, the first room assigned to us was on the 3rd floor and faces the street. It was very noisy. We could hear people yelling and car's horn blowing. We asked to be moved to another room away from the street and they gladly moved us...

We treated our adult daughter to a trip to Istanbul and booked to stay at the Arden City Hotel. What a brilliant decision. The hotel is in the heart of the old city, Sultanahmet, close to Aya Sofia (Sophia Mosque), the Blue Mosque, Hippodrom remains and just a few minutes walk to anywhere. It was absolutely terrific. We walked a...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
