One of the best hotel experiences we have ever had... The hotel manager was very friendly and hospitable and definitely going the extra mile to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Hotel location is 2 minutes walk from Isteklal avenue where all the shopping, nightlife and variety of restaurants are. 4 minutes walk from the metro station besides that Taxi(s)...

Located on high ground about four blocks from Taxim Square the immediate area is reasonably quiet compared to the surroundings in large part due to the fact that the short street is blocked to vehicle traffic at one end. Our ground-floor suite (kitchen, living, bedroom, bath) was very large, well maintained and kept nicely cleaned. There is abundant storage and...

We stayed here for four nights in a ground floor suite. The location is excellent - steps for Istiklal Cadessi and several minutes' walk from Taksim Square and the funicular to Kabatas; there are endless options around in terms of bars and eateries. However, it is a crazy busy area, 24/7 (which wasn't helped that we were here over a...

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights me, my wife & a 4 years old daughter. This is the best choice for the value you are paying. The location was just perfect with 2 minutes walking to Istiklal street & less than 5 minutes walking to metro station & less than 7 minutes walking to Havatas bus station. The...

Manager was very helpful and spoke English well. Rooms are very big with full size fridge. Stove also. These are like studio apartments. Hotel is just around the corner from Istiklal Street in Taksim area of Istanbul. Near attractions, restaurants, and pubs. Also breakfast is delivered to your room every morning at the time of your choosing. First few nights...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
