Q Hotel is a small, quiet, family-owned hotel. It is only a few minutes from the Blue Mosque, the Aya Sofia, The Basilica Cisterns, the Hippodrome, etc. It is 5 minutes from the tram stop at Sultanahmet, which provides cheap access to the airport. The staff are helpful and the breakfast has a good range of healthy fresh food. The...

The best thing here is so quiet but unfortunately for me because my room is so small although I'm not a big one. ;) And it had a toilet problem occurred every day and they couldn't fixed it....

Hotel is at a location that is close to all attractions. Rooms are very small but this was expected so no surprise. Shower is very very small! Breakfast was decent and everything you need. A toaster would have been good though! Would recommend this place to family.

The hotel looks nice, room is clean and big enough. It is located at 1 min to Blue Mosque, so right in the middle of the Sultanahmet turistic area. The personnel is warm and friendly. I recommend this hotel to those who want to be close to most of the turistic points.

We just spent 5 nights at this nice small hotel in early April. It is very conveniently located on a nice street with restaurants and shops close by. In only a few minutes you are in the Hippodrome in the heart of Sultanamet. Breakfast was more than adequate with plenty of variety. Be forewarned though, if you have problems with...

I usually have to stay in Istanbul overnight between connecting flights, so need a hotel not too far from the airport but also close to restaurants and the sights of Istanbul. This hotel really does fit the bill, its minutes away from the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace and other attractions. The rooms are as good as hotels with a higher...

We loved staying at The Q Hotel in Istanbul! We originally only booked for 2 nights but extended our stay to 3 as we were so comfortable there. On arrival the friendly team at reception made us feel so welcome. We were upgraded to a double apartment, which was one street down from the hotel reception - +- 80 metres...

The location is great, the staff helpful and nice, the room was small, street noisy, bathroom small, shower needs upgrade, breakfast simple with only white bread and youghurt but ok for the price... All in all ok for a couple of days in Istanbul.

As written in the title: tiny, nice hotel in a touristic area, close to all main attractions. Many dining alternatives around. Hotel is a small building with friendly and helpful reception. Room we stayed was nice furnished and clean, nothing at all to complain about. Wifi working properly. Breakfest included was simple but tasty. Note that there is no lift...

This hotel is very nice and cozy. Its location is simply perfect (just 5 mins walk to Blue Mosque)and staff is very charming and welcoming. Room we got was cheap and quite small, but very clean and equipped with modern TV and airconditioner. Nothing more to say: I really recommend it.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
