The location is handy to the tram and attractions of the old city. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate in size and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful but cold. It was quite noisy in the evening with the windows open. The shower was unacceptably dirty with significant mold in the corners.

The good: Most attractions are within walking distance and the tram station is very near. Clean room. Free Wifi. The manager/staff are quite helpful. The bad: Room very small. The bedspread doubles as a blanket is not nice and slips off bed easily. One of the staff was not very happy that we took some water from the drinking machine after...

My sister and I found this small hotel near the Cemberlitas tram stop in Istanbul. Sinar Hasar, the proprietor, was gracious and helpful. Other employees were also friendly and went out of their way to assist in any way. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a welcome "cold drink." Both computer and printer were made available to us, without...

Located literally a few steps away from the tram station, it is extremely convenient. The street it is located along is for pedestrians only, so noise is not an issue. The hotel staff are helpful and the wifi is stable. The room itself was big, and the bed very comfortable. The toilet was big too, and the tap delivering hot...

We got a taxi from the airport and our driver couldnt find the hotel, so the hotel sent an employee to meet the taxi and then he carried our bags back to the hotel. I don’t know why but you can find this hotel under two names: Angelo Home or Amber inn, how you wish to call it there isn't a better location for a hotel in Istanbul. Reception, sitting room and breakfast room are practically the same but the bedrooms (at least mine and those of my friends) were wide and the bathrooms...

A very well located hotel and would recommend staying there, we had a spacious triple bed room for 4 of us (inc a baby) but the bathroom was tiny with no vents. At walking distance to lots of places and next to Cemberlitas station (go to the Hammad just round the corner, really good), walking distance to Sultanahmet where everything...

I do not see how hotel sites say this is a four star hotel, it isn't, and it it weren't advertised to me as such I would probably give this place a better review. As other reviewers have commented, this hotel features wonderful staff who really want you to have a good experience in Turkey. The location is perfect, right...
