Levni Hotel & Spa stands out for its exceptional cleanliness, something many guests have consistently noted, emphasizing spotlessly maintained rooms and tidy environs. Nestled in a central location, the hotel offers easy access to attractions and is lauded for safety and convenience. The welcoming staff and excellent service contribute to its appeal, though service levels can occasionally fluctuate.
While the rooms are generally praised for cleanliness and comfort, some guests suggest they could benefit from modern updates. The hotel's amenities, including the rooftop terrace, spa, and indoor pools, are popular highlights, although opinions on value and pricing vary among travelers.

Detailed Reviews
Stayed here middle of March and you could not possibly book a better hotel for central location or indeed the friendly helpful service recieved from all the staff.
As we did not arrive until after midnight, it was great that the reception staff still advised us everything we needed to know about the area and some helpful tips.
We also received a free upgraded room and a cake awaited us in the room as it was recently my wifes birthday and the reason we were visiting Istanbul.
Unfortunately, when returning from our sightseeing on the Monday evening, the staff informed us that Istanbul was preparing to close down many ameneties due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. However, at this point, all the usual tourist attractions were still open, such as the Grand Bazar, Blue Mosque etc. And you could still eat in the restaraunts. However it was clear that every day into our 4 days trip, more and more were closing down.
It was also when we were there that all flights to and from the UK were grounded in respect to Turkey. We were fortunate enough that our scheduled flight back on the Thursday was still scheduled to take passengers back to UK. And we were actually the last BA flight out of Istanbul to Heathrow on March 19th.
We tried to not let it spoil our trip as things were still open through the day, but the evenings proved a problem to go anywhere. At this point, even in the UK we were not in lockdown or closure of amenities, but it was clear things were escalating.
Anyway, the staff were great, and even gave us the use of their own travel cards for us to add money onto for our use when we were travelling to Taksim Square or the shopping mall. Very helpful in advising us everythin we wanted to know and so friendly. As were the staff at breakfast time. Superb choice of all the usual continental fayre, and omlettes cooked in front of you to order if you wanted one. Great quality.
The hotel is located in an excellent position for all the normal tourist attractions and only a 5 minute walk down to the river. We took in a 2 hour boat trip which cost only 10 Euros each.
I would therefore thoroughly recommend this hotel when all the Coronavirus issues are long gone and tourists start visiting again

This hotel is within walking distance of all the great sites, so if you don't want to take taxis everywhere, it is a very good place to be.
The staff here are fantastic, we had excellent service throughout the hotel. The Front desk were happy to change our room due to my health issues, which we really appreciated. They were very knowledgeable about all the activities in the city and gave us lots of information about Istanbul. When we needed anything they were very happy to oblige including the location of a pharmacy. Tours were booked for us, and taxis called on those few occasions we needed them,
Breakfast was buffet style and very good, there was something for everybody. We had a couple of evening meals in the dining room and was very happy with both the service and the food.
If we were to visit Istanbul again, the Levni would be our first choice of hotel.

From the first moment when I arrived at the entrance I have been met by gentleman Nural Inciler who treated me as the VIP-guest. Yes, first impression matters a lot. I have got upgraded to the upfloor with great view. During the stay he offered assistance with orientation, finding adress, or just give any tips you are after.
Sebnem Inciler is absolut star, I would say 6th star of the hotel. Her smile made my day everytime we met.
Emre Cuhaci is absolut kind and servicemided who fixed the WIFI up to my room with additional router. This service you will only get at Levni.
Yasar Özpay and Yasin Hatil I have not enough words to express my gratitude for respect and friendly atmosphere you create.
This place has high vibes where you feel 100% secure and very warm welcomed during the entire stay. Restaurant, food quality and interior is imcomprably great. Staff has incredible potential to do the best and treat each guest as the VIP. They never ever get tired of you, even if you stay 17days like me or more, they are there for You.

We stayed at the Levni hotel for 7 nights during July 2021 on a trip to Istanbul. We are a family of three. I cannot recommend the Levni Hotel enough. Before our trip my interaction with the reservation team (Mrs Irem) was most pleasant and the reservation team went out of their way to meet my requests and make my booking. I made the booking only 4 days before I travelled and the booking and additional requests were done professionally. The team ensured we had an extra bed in our room and arranged our hotel shuttle from Istanbul Airport. On arrival in Istanbul we were shown to our shuttle without any issue.
The hotel itself is ideally located, next to the Governor’s residence in the Sultanahmet area. The Sirkeci metro station is right outside the door of the hotel and the tramstop is a short walk down the road. However, all main tourist attractions (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia etc) in the Sultanahmet area are within walking distance as well as a good choice of restaurants.
The room was clean and well-kept and was definitely a bigger sized room for an Istanbul hotel. We were very comfortable in our room for 7 nights.
The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was comfortable. The room was very well cleaned every day. Breakfast was good and it was pleasing to note the measures in place regarding social distancing and Covid hygiene measures. Special mention must be made of Mr Nural and Miss Ebnem at the main reception who were always on hand to answer our questions, have a chat and make us feel at home. Mr Nural especially had very good recommendations on places to visit, providing us with hand drawn maps and he also arranged a very nice Bosporous cruise for us.
I must also mention that the shuttle company used by the hotel is very professional. We used the shuttle arranged by Levni Hotel on arrival and departure and on both occasions the shuttle company was very prompt. Their vehicles are also very clean and well kept.
I will confidently recommend the Levni Hotel if you are travelling to Istanbul. The location, cleanliness and excellent staff will ensure you have a memorable stay in Istanbul.

I stayed at the hotel for four nights with my parents and brother. The staff was very welcoming, kind, and above all very helpful, giving us great advise about how to make the best of our trip: what to visit and at what time, where to find the best food, where to shop, etc. They lent us an Istanbulkart to use the city's public transportation, and Mr. Nural drew clear and simple maps (with instructions and tips) to help us find our way to our day's objectives. Thanks to them we saved a lot of time and money!
The hotel is located within walking distance of several of the biggest attractions (Aya Sophia, Blue mosque, Top Kapi, Grand Bazzar, Spice Market). This means we were able to do most of them in one day. We also had a great view from the roof.
Breakfast was nice and varied. Dinner was also very good and at a very reasonable price (plus as a hotel guest you get a reduction).
So yes, hotel greatly recommended, with no hesitation.
Thanks again to Nural & Onur! :)

We had such a lovely and memorable stay at Levni thanks to the staff there. They are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel location is just walking distance from all the important landmarks and if you are up for a nice walk, you can walk to Takshim square. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean with big bathrooms.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone thanks to the location and excellent hospitality.

The Levni hotel & Spa boasts an enviable central location for sightseeing in the beautiful city of Istanbul, being it is just a 10-15 minute walk to an array of landmarks, including (but certainly not restricted to) the Hagia Sophia Museum, Sultanahmet Square and the Sultan Ahmet Mosque (The Blue Mosque) to the south, the Grand Bazaar to the West, to the North you have Yeni Cami (the New Mosque) and the Bosphorus sea (and the gateways to the Asian side of the city), and to the East you have the Topkapi Palace Museum and Gülhane Park.
Additionally, the service within the hotel itself (from all members of the staff I encountered) was of a high standard and very much appreciated, always friendly and always helpful.
Rarely was I not greeted whenever I arrived or departed the hotel, and any request I had was accommodated willingly and efficiently. I wish I was able to remember the names of a couple more staff members to give the appropriate credit to, and I apologies for not being able to do so, but Nural (the Guest Relations Manager) for one, I found to be very friendly and helpful at the start of my all too brief stay.
I did not use many facilities in the hotel itself, as I spent most of my time out and about exploring the city, so can't contribute too much there, but I was lucky enough to stay in the (Bosphorus) suite, which is a very spacious and impressive room, with fantastic views of the city, specifically of the Bosphorus…….you could easily be forgiven for 'being lazy' of an evening when you can dine-in from the comfort of your room with such a splendid view to enjoy over dinner.
(There is also a rooftop area (where I believe dinner is served), and where you can experience similar impressive views, if you are not fortunate enough to have them within your hotel room itself).
This was my second visit to Istanbul, and my second stay at the Levni, and I certainly hope it will not be the last time that I get the opportunity to experience either of them again.
(Thank you to everyone for making it a wonderful stay).

This is a lovely hotel close to the metro, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, the bridge/port area, and lots of shopping, coffee shops, and restaurants. The rooftop restaurant is fabulous, especially the lamb chops, and was just what we needed after an overseas flight. We had some issues with the a/c on our last night which made for a restless night, but the manager explained the next morning that there was a power outage during the night in that area of the city. The daily breakfast was wonderful with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms were immaculate with plenty of space - we had a good laugh over the elevator "buttons" which my jet-lagged brain wanted to repeatedly to push/press, but required sliding your finger up or down!

Overall a lovely hotel offering a great breakfast and extremely well placed for all the main tourist sites. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and welcoming. Our only two gripes were that drinks were expensive in the evenings (we run a small hotel in the Lake District so we know what expensive is but this hotel was far more expensive). There are also some maintenance issues that probably need addressing. Room was a little tired and wallpaper where it had been patched was different to the rest of the room. The only bedside table was broken. It’s a shame as it’s such a great place.

Visited Turkey in early March, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. At that time, the virus had not spread to Turkey yet so there was no screening or mask requirements.
Stayed at the Levni Hotel for several days while we explored Istanbul. The hotel is centrally located and a 15 minute walk to the Sultanahmet area where the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace are located.
Front desk staff were nice and took the time to give us maps of the nearby attractions. The breakfast restaurant was nicely appointed with a large variety of food for every palate. This was actually one of the highlights of our stay - breakfast! The lunch and dinner restaurant was in a different area and the menu selection was decent. We didn't try any of the other amenities.
At first, I was a bit surprised that my room was much smaller than the one in the picture, but I managed and it actually turned out to be ok since it had a large desk area that overlooked a mosque that was adjacent to the hotel. The windows could also be opened to allow fresh air and hear the sounds of the city. It was nice to come back to a comfortable hotel at the end of a busy sightseeing day.
I recommend the Levni Hotel if you want to stay near the Sultanahmet area. There were many restaurants and shops within a few minutes' walk.
Enjoy your stay!

Hi! This is what I found on the web --> Istanbul‘s Special-Class or Special category hotels offer character, specifically Ottoman character. Some were built during the Ottoman Empire, others have been restored to the character of that era, still others strive for an Ottoman ambience.
Recognizing that some unique hotels did not fit its standard star classification system, Turkey’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism created ‘S’ (Special) Class to designate hotels and inns that may not meet all the technical requirements for a certain star rating, such as number of guest rooms or restaurant seats, but that had other advantages, such as character, historical interest, and/or charm.
Special Class hotels are smaller than the standard 4- and 5-star luxury hotels, with fewer staff whom you’ll get to know more easily. Each has special charms or advantages. Most are as comfortable as any modern hotel rating three or four stars. Many are located in the most convenient hotel districts.
And I would attest to the charm - Levni Hotel is not that big but the hotel staff are so nice and they can remember your names and call you by name. They also offer personalized services - the concierge in Levni offered to order food for us on our first day because we arrived late already and the hotel restaurant was already closed. He used his personal phone's app to order food for us and even brought so much bottled water when he brought the food to our room. He even found a great laundromat for us.
I was a guest. Best contacting the hotel directly
