This hotel is situated within walking distance of major sites, good shopping and dining. The rooms are small but well appointed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Take the cooking lesson offered. It was a highlight of our trip. The breakfasts are very good. You'll enjoy eating out in the garden or just sitting and enjoying a drink. We'd...

We stayed here June 04-07 and was expecting more. The hotel is in a good location and is within a few minutes walk from everying you need. There are plenty of resturants, cafes and bars all within 100m of the front door. The Blue Mosque is literally a two min walk from the hotel and our room had a view...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your positive and negative comments about our hotel. We had a problem with receiver, we are really sorry for that. The problem with shower has been fixed. When you were here we told the company but they came to fix it after 3 days. To be honest there is no problem with WiFi. The signals...

The hotel is perfectly located in Oldcity of Istanbul and it is just one step away from the main touristic sites, such as Hagia Sophia, Bluemosque and brilliant Cistern. Me and my fiance stayed in the wonderful decorated deluxe room and I can't tell enough about view of Blumosque from our room. Staff was friendly and very accommodating always. Especially,...

I'd thoroughly recommend this fabulous little hotel. Right in the heart of the old town, spotless neat and tidy rooms - perfect for using as a base to explore Istanbul. The staff were outstanding, really helpful and went above and beyond to help us. I in fact left my camera in the car during my transfer from the hotel to...

We stayed at the Sarnic Premier for 4 days and thought it was very good, mainly due to its location. The rooms are small and clean, ideal for a holiday spent sightseeing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On the downside there was no English TV stations, although we were assured each day that BBC would be avaiable. It...

Tripadvisor reviews helped me book this place and my experience was quite good. The airport pickup was ready when we arrived and we reached the hotel in no time. Sarnic premier is actually not a separate hotel but located in the same compound with the Sarnic Hotel. The rooms are small as are everywhere else in the historic area of...

Where to start? We had an absolutely great stay of 9 days. This was a very convenient location and we used it as home base. We had a lovely room and the breakfasts were a delight with quite an array of foods. I was travelling with my adult son and daughter and we stayed in an immaculate triple room with...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
