Issa is possibly the best person to come across. Our stay was so wonderful and comfortable. It was home away from home. All the staff are amazing and so helpful. By the time we left I pretty much had seen all the sights thanks to Issa's guidance. Thank you so much and we hope to see you soon Inshallah Mama...

We stayed at Minel Hotel in November 2016. We were inclined to choose this hotel after reading various positive reviews about this hotel on Trip Advisor. However once we entered the hotel’s lobby after one and a half hour walk all over the Sultanahmet district in search of this hotel, all those positive reviews seemed nothing more than hoax; some...

This place is a great place to stay if you are new to the city and want to be close to the attractions and subway line. The management is very hospitable and will help if you need anything. The breakfast is very simple but that is to be expected for the price. The rooms are small..but the showers are fab...

The location is about as good as you can get to the attractions. A bit of a walk on cobblestones and steps to get to it. And, then steps up to the rooms. Lobby and breakfast at ground level. 3 floors of rooms 4 per. They helped with the bags. 3 floors of stairs will keep us in shape. Adequate...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
