Stayed here with my mother it was nice and quiet and we had a big breakfast on offer each day. Rooms are clean and the people who work there are lovely. I would recommend it as the location was great. They helped us with directions and shuttles and would stay there again

Very clean and well kept property. Fantastic location for seeing the major sites in Istanbul. The breakfasts prepared by Maria were excellent with many choices. What really made our stay a memorable experience was the staff. The day time manager was enthusiastic about making guests comfortable and about introducing them to Istanbul and Turkey. We saw him helping every guest...

We had two rooms, the same price but one was a standard double with one bed - a bit small but comfortable nevertheless, and the other was basically a suite (room 201), with two double beds in connecting rooms - would be great for two couples or a family. It is extremely handy to the Blue Mosque and Hagi Sofia...

Definately would recommend this hotel. The first night we had a small room, but very clean. On the next morning they gave us a much bigger room for the remainder of our stay. Don't let room size put you off as I'm sure most hotels in this area are similar. The breakfast was great and the staff were friendly and...

Nice clean hotel which is well maintained and in a good location near to most attractions. Stairs are a bit treacherous but staff were great in helping us get luggage up and down. Breakfast was simple and tasty and always set us up well for the day. Would definitely return as it was excellent value for money

I agree with many of the recent posts. Very small, very clean rooms with a bit of a view. This hotel is located on a quiet side street, just off the main tram line (nice restaurant at corner too) close to the Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque district. No elevators if thats an issue. Staff are helpful and friendly. Our...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
