This hostel no longer exists. I booked with them in July and received an email back that day confirming my reservation, but when I arrived on Serçe Street (just four days ago, Saturday 27th August) it was nowhere to be found, and three neighbours confirmed that they had closed six months ago. I hadn't paid anything for it, thankfully, but...

Stayed here for two nights. Great AC, good WIFI, and a wonderful little cafe/bar upstairs as well. Lots of travelers from all over the world! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was fantastic. I walked everywhere in Istanbul, but the hostel is on the same block as many electronics stores, cafes, banks, bars, and other shops. Most...

Although it was quite a while since i stayed at Bada Bing in September 2015, i had said that i would right a review so better late than never. Upon arrival in Istanbul (due to my poor navigation skills) i was very flustered and disorientated finding my way to the hostel in the rain, but as soon as i walked...

Ok, So I did not make it to the hostel. As a matter of fact I changed my mind and decided to not to go to the hostel and chose some place else. I cancelled the booking more than one month before the arrival date. I have been waiting for the past month to refunded but the have not. Every...

Friendly staff with a nice bar and breakfast included. Wifi was fast and there is a computer to use as well. There was also parking outside the front of the hostel that was extremely helpful. Staff always gave honest reviews of everywhere and were great to talk to. Would definitely stay here again

We arrived in Istanbul with the plan to stay at Bada Bing for 2 nights and switch to another one after in order to be in different parts of the city. It is off-season so we had an 8 person room for ourselves (2 people)! After the 2 nights we decided to stay there for the full trip (6 nights)...

Bada Bing is a little hard to find but i do like the area of Karakoy as there is great access to everything from here. There were not many guests when i stayed so i had an 8 bed dorm to myself. I could not imagine staying here when it was full. Very small room and limited electrical. Bathrooms were...

The hostel staff are incredible friendly and helpful while the space a well designer and full of fun details like hand made tables, antique doors, and hand painted details. It's a great place to be, and very centrally located to all the big sites.

Was all going fine until I noticed two items of make up had disappeared from my room (a private room behind three locked doors). Turned the room upside down before alerting reception. The only possible explanation was that the cleaner took these items. Which the story changed over and over with them saying no one has even been in there...

This hostel has one mayor advantage: location. very close to istiklal and tram-stations. We had a problem with our toilet with flooded :). General staff is friendly. A bit too much: you should see this and we have a great tour for it. Breakfast on the rooftop is basic and nice. We only stayed at the hostel to sleep and...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
