This was my first stay, but my wife had stayed here 3 years ago and insisted we return. She was right. It was like coming home. The owners are personally involved in managing the hotel and remembered my wife well. Their personalities infuse the hotel with their friendly and hospitable spirit. The hotel is perfect base for a sightseeing trip...

I can only subscribe to the superlatives written here insofar. The hotel is pleasant and cozy, the location superb, close to Istiklal ant still quiet, but most than all the hospitality of Murat, Murat and Bora. We felt we really were among intimate friends. Their made all efforts to make our stay enjoyable. I want to thank them from here...

Our favorite place to stay in Istanbul and Turkey (and lots of other places, too!). The Marat, Bora, Marat team couldn't have been nicer or more helpful..they made some excellent business referrals for us. Spacious rooms, interesting architectural elements, fab breakfast, and so much personalized interest and service. We visited twice and would go back again in a heartbeat. Interesting...

There are lots of other hotels in this part of Beyoglu, but it’s hard to imagine that the people who own and operate them could possibly be any more kind, generous, helpful, or lovely than the trio of Murat, Murat, and Bora. Each is a great conversationalist and each has a unique sense of humor. After our six days at...

Istanbul is one of the great cities of the world. Almost immediately after we booked a four night break, we were wondering if we had allowed enough time. But with the booking made, we set about trying to figure out how we could make the most out of our short stay without doing so much that we would need a...

It was just a one night stay at Peradays but I can understand why the excellent reviews about this place. This place is very near the shopping district and we were recommended to dine at Ficcini nearby where the locals go. Delicious food! Service was excellent! Murat assisted with our laundry and woke up 5am the next morning to help...

I visited this hotel expecting that it would be good but I got fantastic! The rooms are wonderful, the staff is very nice, you feel just at home. Also it is very close to Taksim square , so you don't have to worry about transportation. I'd give 5 stars even for the breakfast!

I stayed at Peradays with my husband as our mini-honeymoon and I had never been to Istanbul before, unlike my husband. He said that we MUST stay at this amazing place he stayed in before and I am so glad we did! Murat and Bora are two of the best guys you could ever hope to meet - friendly, helpful...

Peradays is perfectly located for all the sights in Istanbul. It is in my opinion on the right side of the city away from the tourist areas of Sultanhamet and a short walk from the Galata Bridge or the tram which you can then access every inch of the city. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and hospitable, the rooms...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
