Also only about two blocks to the tram system with great service from the airport or to the cruise terminal as well as around the city. Basically across...

Currently here in Istanbul. Selected the Balin Hotel for its previous Tripadvisor reviews, location and price. Our initial impression was just ok. Room quite small but they had confirmed my requests and the room had the facilities as advertised. I wanted a typical Turkish experience and the Balin hotel certainly has delivered. The decor, music and breakfast are definitely Turkish....

Eight of us stayed for a night before we joined our cruise ship...the location was great, just a few minutes walk from the grand bazaar and most of the 'must-do' sights!! All the staff were pleasant and helpful, our rooms were clean and well appointed. Breakfast was a vast array of local produce, so definitely something for everyone to eat....

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and had a wonderful experience, and they had exceptional service. The hotel personnel was very professional and polite. The hotel is in a great location in the old city, 7 min walking distance from the Blue Mosque, and Hagia Sophia. Highly recommended. Erald Pelari

We stayed there 3 nights and We definetely satisfied. Breakfast was little poor but in the restaurant had live music everyday. Hotel staff was very kind and helpful. We chose their recommendations about istanbul tours and Turkish night on the boat at night. We loved it. We can highly recommend that hotel. That was nice short holiday.
