We had a good experience staying at Sayeban. The folks were friendly, the rooms were nice..though we were given a different room on the first night, in a different building. Probably they were overbooked. Nonetheless, the breakfast spread was quite decent, and a quiet place to sit outside and eat. The hotel is located very close to Divan Yolu, the... More

Unfortunately, images on all sites show how beautiful the hotel is, but its not. The AC unit was not working till our check out, the reservation took long time to check and prepare the room at our arrival. The location was noisy as a lot of shops and several workshops there for cloths and shoes around.

One day before we arrived to Istanbul, Sayeban Hotel sent an email that they cannot process my credit card data. We called booking.com and with their help we could achieve that the hotel did not cancel our reservation and they will wait for us. When we arrived, a couple was sitting before the hotel, while an other couple had an... More

The most impressive thing this hotel is its personal. They are very helpful and friendly. The room was OK but not large enough for us. In the second day the only single bed disappeared we had to sleep in the remaining double bed (two parents and three children) . Wifi and air conditioning were poor. Breakfast is good but not... + It is one of the cheaper hotels in the area + The location is good, within walking distance to the Old City and a tram stop + The breakfast is good, with a lot of choice and a nice view + The staff is friendly and helpful - The airconditioning was leaking quite heavily. We asked about this twice,... More

My wife and I arrived in this hotel and they moved us to different building than the main. The room was so small we had to walk over the luggage and crawl to the dirt bed. the washroom didn't flash, the shower cold and not enough water, only one electric outlet, light in the hallway didn't work and when we... Checked into this hotel with a friend through a last minute deal and was blown away by the value for money. The outside of the hotel doesn't say much for the place, neither does the tired looking carpet on the stairs and into the corridors but the rooms, staff, breakfast and location to the main sites are all fantastic. The... More

I booked this based on photos and descriptions of room / hotel amenities on Expedia. When I arrived, after a long journey, I was placed instead in something called 'The Annex'. This is a nearby building that in no way resembles the hotel pictured in the photos on Expedia etc. It has a slum-like rundown feel to it and feels... More

Staff is friendly, and they are trying to be at the service. Hotel is nice overall. Location is good, but little hard to find. First night was the nightmare. There was some terrible noise, as someone was screaming like being killed. Staff said it was their neighbour, but I wasn't convinced in that story. We had a problem with air... More
