The one thing that did not comeup as a surprise was the price, as it was exactly how it was quoted. For sure this is an excellent establishment to be on the budget for family travel (we were 6 adults). The location however is downhill from Sultanahmet square so a tough walk till the tram. Also the facility was smaller...

We really enjoyed our stay. The wifi, air conditioner, hot water, television and kitchen appliances all worked great. Our host, Farouq, was tremendous. We were picked up at the airport and transported to the front door. (This was free if you paid cash- which we did). When we left, he had a van waiting for us to take us to...

We stayed in Apt #5. It has a great view of the Bosphorus, and is generously spaced for a small family. One large bed, and 3 twin size beds. The kitchen was also equipped with utensils, a kettle, pots, pans, plates and bowls. They provided towels and the daily cleaning service was also good. The bathroom, however, was pretty small,...

The owner and host Faruk is very nice and friendly! Contact him after you do...

The apartment is clean, modern and bright. I love the location. The apartment is within walking distance of many key tourist attractions and the public transit system. It's also located in a beautiful neighbourhood with narrow stone streets and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The internet access at the apartment was great, the air conditioning worked well and the...

We stayed in Apartment #5 with a baby (8 months) and a toddler (3 years) for a week and other than a flight of stairs it was great for us. Its a very charming apartment that is used only as a hotel. The apartment has a unique layout that takes advantage of the amazing Bosphorus view. The larger bed and...

This was a lovely bright apartment. And the location could not be more perfect (the Tour of Turkey cycling lapped past our window), minutes from the Hippodrome and Blue Mosque and surrounded by little cafes for breakfast or a nightcap. It was very clean and tidy, and cleaner came each day. Usefully had an iron and board, and a hair...

We were a family of 5 with a baby, and found the place is perfect for our needs. We rent the Annex apartment with sea view on the 2nd floor. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
