Azade is located nearby Sultanahmet tram station. It’s about 10 minutes walk to Sultanahmet tram station or 10 minutes walk to Akbiyik bus stop (to Eminonu-pier or spice market). Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia is very closed to hotel in less than 10 minutes walk...More
We stayed at Azade for 4 days. Hotel is easy to locate and in heart of Sultanahmet and close by to restaurants, and main tourist attractions. Closeby to tram station too! Rooms are good. Try choosing upper floor rooms with a good view maybe. Beds...More

Location wise the hotel is within walking distance to the attractions in Sultanahmet but not that close. It’s an old building so there is only a small lift. Same type of foods are served daily for breakfast. The view from terrace was just okay.
Good hotel. Just a few minutes walk to the main attractions. Good sized rooms. Breakfast at terrace. Very good views. Guys at the reception very helpful. Will definitely go there again. Very highly recommend.
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

sorry just seeing this. There is park area around Hagia Sophia/Blue Mosque. There are small stores near the hotel where you can buy some snacks, fruit, drinks, but no supermarkets.
This is in old Sultanahmet area.
