The arena hotel made my stay in Istanbul wonderful. It was very clean and the hotel itself was very cultural. A band played there every night. The staff was incredibly sweet and kind and I will never forget the people and how helpful they were....More
This Hotel is a very small family owned in the heart of Sultanahmet, it is perfect for all the tourist attractions and very close to the tram line to see other parts of the City.
The Hotel is absolutely lovely all staff are very welcoming...More
Though the hotel feel small (I think most of the Hotel in Istanbul are) but we feel really comfortable inside. They have good breakfast (love the hot chocolate 😊 & lentils soup), nice staff and nice room (we booked 2 room in Queen Suites).

We booked an "economy room" in this lovely little hotel and were very pleasantly surprised at the size and standard of the accommodation. Apart from having no view, the room was far better than we had expected for the very reasonable rate we paid. It...More
After a long day's travel this is exactly the sort of hotel I hope to find. It has an old-world charm which made us feel immediately at home. The hotel is cosy and intimate without being at all cramped. Our room was modern, with everything...More
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to

Sorry about delay in finding your question. There was no sign of any swimming pool at the Arena but they claim to have a haman (Turkish Bath ) and I did see a lady in a white coat who would seem to be the attendant... More

Swimming pools do not seem to be high on the list of facilities in the sultanamet area, I only saw one on the roof of an up-market hotel. This property prides itself on being OLD, I don't doubt that it is on the site of the old family property but the info in the lobby states that a lot of work was done and it would appear to be a major reconstruction. But there is no space for a pool, the "garden" is a courtyard - with tables and chairs.
One good thing which I failed to mention in my review, our room had a comprehensive adaptor plug in the bedside table so one could plug in and charge without searching for a suitable adaptor.
