I just spent a week at this hotel, and my stay was excellent! This is a new hotel, so the rooms and facilities are very nice. The room had many easily accessible electrical outlets, which is often not found in many hotels. Very comfortable room. Nice breakfast. We also enjoyed the afternoon tea. The views from the rooftop deck/restaurant were...

Quiet and friendly hotel. The staff are outstanding! Very helpful, service minded and there to assist you. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was ok. Hotel is located in old part of Istanbul. 10 min walk to the Blue Mosque. Many restaurants and shops in the area. I will stay here again!

We highly recommend this hotel. It is really conveniently located to the major sights, it is right off the metro and tram lines. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and they have a Turkish Bath on the premises that is really nice. And, who doesn't want a cookie after walking 10 miles a day?! Though I will say I needed a...

With the comfort one expects from Hilton, right in atmospheric Sirkeci with Aya Sophia very close. Easy access to public transport. The terrace restaurant has a beautiful view of the Aya Sophia, Blue Mosque, Galata tower and Rainbow bridge over the Bosphorus. Lots of restaurants in the region serving various Turkish dishes.

Hotel is accessible to tram, train and bus. Just located beside the train station at Sirkeci. Walking distance to tourist spots like the Topkapi Palace and the like. Hotel personnel is always available for your needs. I remember arriving back from Nevsehir so late and front desk offered me a newly baked cookie which tasted so good. The only problem...

Hotel location is perfect because its near to mesri bazar, grand bazar, blue mosque. The Marmary metro station is attached to the hotel. You can reach the very tasteful restaurant by walk. The room space is perfect especially the suite. Room service is good. Beds are comfortable.

I stayed here for eight nights in February when I went to Istanbul on a business trip. The welcome was warm..the cookies were a homely touch. Since I was arriving very early, I blocked a night but at the reception, it still took a little time for paper work to be completed. The rooms were very nice and decent. Comfortable...

The hotel is located in the midst of narrow bylanes of the old city but has a good connectivity. The taxi takes you right upto the main door. Most old town attractions , metro station and Restaurant etc. are within walking distance. The hotel itself is a midsize property ; the Lobby is rather small and functional. Room sizes are...

*See my other Istanbul reviews. You will see I am here often. Pros + Location. It is literally only 20m from the Sirkeci Station for the Marmaray train that takes you over to the Asian side in just a few minutes. Also it is only 100m from the Metro tram. + Quality of Room / Stay Excellent. Very helpful staff...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
