The best element about this hotel is the location . Mind the staff attitude . Yet you will find anything you need in that location. I tried the superior room and it was convenient for my needs. Due to location I would go there again

Booked this hotel for 2 nights based on a recommendation from a frequent visitor to Istanbul. First impressions going through the Hotel's double doors; dark and dismissal. I stayed at the Taxim Hill again, since I had enjoyed it so much on my first stay. This time, however, my room was on the 8th floor, which is right below the ballroom. There was a live band playing in the ballroom that night, and I could hear everything. The band played until midnight, and I needed to be...

The hotel location is unbeatable, right in the center of Taxim Square. Balcony rooms are very entertaining if you don't go out at night. The top-floor Breakfast restaurant needs some renovation, but hold spectacular Bosphor view.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
