We stayed in this comfortable hotel for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were very well looked after by the staff and were thrilled with the roof terrace dining room. Never have we breakfasted with such stunning views - in this case over the Blue Mosque, the Hagya Sofia and the Marmara Sea. We should add that that...

A perfect base from which to explore many of the city's prime attractions, many of which are quite literally on the doorstep. The hotel itself is comfortable and boasts a fantastic top terrace with breath-taking views over the tops of neighbouring buildings towards the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia mosque and the Sea of Marmaris. A generous breakfast is served...

We stayed three nights and was very happy with room and staff. Room was clean and fresh, staff very helpful and nice. Location is the best for exploring old city - everything is in walking range. They have shuttle to airports which was in time and very fast. A little bit disappointed by breakfast tho...

I enjoyed the clean, comfortable room, but it was the balcony that was fabulous. I could see the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sofia, and the sea. A great place to unwind while enjoying the changing colors of sunrise or sunset. Views from the rooftop terrace/room (where breakfast was served) were even more spectacular! And the food was delicious, too. Hotel staff...

I think it's the best location in the old city where your could access easily to all the most important monuments and places (Aja Sofia, Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar etc). Nice Medium sized hotel with good accommodation, excellent service and the best price quality ratio.

Tiny hotel in the very heart of Istambul, friendly personel, everyone is fluent in English. I was absolutely satisfied and felt home atmosphere. Hotel is 200 m from the Blue Mosque, there are many restaurants around. The service is good, breakfast rather acceptable. Great view from the terrace.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
