This was my second stay at this hotel and I liked it still. The staff are very kind. I was expecting a baby when I stayed and they would give me free milk, which was so nice of them. The rooms and public spaces are clean. The rooftop restaurant has such a lovely view. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed in Erboy Hotel for 4 days, not so many days, but we were impressed! The hotel is small, but very cosy and clean. The location is perfect, next to the city centre, almost all sights are 5 minutes walking distance, the tram station is 2 minutes walking. The room is quite small, but it is very cosy, comfortable...

Very cosy and clean hotel. Staff was really friendly and helpful. The gem is a tiny restaurant on the top floor, you can in fact see Asia, Europe, bridge and Topkapi gardens from there, breathtaking. I wish I would never had to leave. Breakfast really fulfilling, loved the turkish cheeses and pastries, yummy. Rooms cleaned spotlessly every day, maids were...

We've stayed here twice: four years ago and now over Xmas 2016. This time we stayed in a budget room which was absolutely fine. Breakfast is OK and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. It's a short walk to the main sights such as the Hagia Sophia and a good base for visiting a fascinating city. I'm writing this...

The location was perfect - close to all the tourist attractions and only few meters from the station. Affordable. We were in a triple room which was probably big enough but the bathroom was very, very, very small (knocked the toilet every time you opened the door) I either heard our neighbours or the people living below or above us...

Erboy Hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all the attractions (Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar, Galata Bridge) and about 100m from Gulhane Park tram station. The staff at reception were very helpful. The triple room we booked was larger than all the other triple rooms we stayed in previously, but the bathroom was very cramped. Every time...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
