Location just can not get any better. Amazing, informative and friendly staff. Customer service manager Ms Jamilya was extremelly helpful before our visit to help us plan our time in Istanbul and trip to Cappadocia, so our holiday went fluently and we did not lose any time for planning. Receptionist Tolga was ready with a solution for any of our...

The room was cleaned on a daily basis and the towels for each person were provided on a daily basis as well. An iron was provided as per request. We liked...

At first sight this place does not have much to set it apart from all the other restaurants in the heart of the old town. In fact, it's street presence is a bit dismal. The large street level dining room was empty every time we passed. At the door was the expected 'hustler' trying to entice us in, but he...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
