My impression is rather negative than positive. A woman who meet us does not understand English at all. She speaks a little bit Russian but it was not really helpful. We were told that price that was given while booking as price per room we have to pay per every person. After long conversation via phone between me and a...

Be very careful when booking a room at Kevin's Hostel. We booked a room here 6 months ago for 3 nights in July. Two weeks before our arrival date they informed me that they can't validate my credit card. I contacted my bank and they informed me that there was no indication that anybody tried to validate my card. After...

We stayed here for one night as we had a departing flight the next day. We got a double room with shared bathroom. The room is very basic and ours had no view and stank of stale cigarette smoke. The shared bathroom however was very clean and well equipped. When arriving, we were knocking at the door for about 5...

I had read some so-so reviews and didn't expect much, just a cheap place to sleep...but i was pleasantly surprised when i got there... first of all the location, in a quiet residential street but mere steps away from the ferry terminal and lively pubs and restaurants Then the receptionist, a very friendly lady, who did her very best with...

Me and my friend stayed 1 night in this hostel and almost this was too much. We were too annoyed by the next two factors: - It was too cold in the room - It was noisy at 11 pm and some hours during the night + The location was good (near bus station and near center and shopping) +...

I ended up at Kevin's hostel by necessity. After staying 3 days in the Sultanahmet area (which was very noisy), I missed my flight back and needed a place to stay overnight on the Kadikoy side. Luckily, this place had a room available for a very low price. I didn't expect much for the price, but was surprised at how...

It was terrible dissapoinment. I planned my long trip very carefully and I needed an hotel on the Kadikoy side. And unfortunately I've chose this one. I came there, as I booked - 20/04/13 - and....surprise!!!!It was closed!!!!! Very funny really! But this is not the end of the story! They took my money, just like I didn't make cancellation...

Everything you'd ever want in a hostel. Very clean, great breakfast and cheap! Noisy though, but that's to be expected I guess. Kevin was a great host and even arranged cheap transport to the ferry port on our departure. I would stay there again.

Thank John E
