My fiancé surprised me with this trip & booked a room in this hotel based on its excellent location. indeed it was a good choice due to short walking distance from Taksim Sq. The room service was good . Staffs were helping, although they promise us good view & the receptionist was rising our expectations with unnecessary comments, we ended...

I haven't stayed at Point Hotel Taksim for a couple years until February 2016. It is good to see that they sustain the good quality of rooms. But on top of all, every person working at the hotel, reception, concierge, restaurant, meeting rooms were very kind and helpful. Thank you!

Resturants .. small shops .. money exchange are near. Metro is about 4 minutes walking. Taksim square is about 6 minutes walking. All was good but have some points: We were on a non-smoking room, but it is allow to smoke near the elevator so the smoke smell every where. Breakfast each day was same .. no change on it....

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
