Stone hotel is located 5 minutes from the main road, and 10 minutes to the main attractions. There is a lot of restaurant with good prices and tasty food around the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Hope to visit the hotel again.

Friendliest staff with impeccable service- and always very accommodating. Breakfast on the rooftop is paired with a great view of the surrounding city and sea. Additional notes include clean room at very reasonable prices also.

I was staying in this hotel for 5N 6D, it was a pleasure to have good services in this hotel. Room, heater, AC, hot water are ok! When i come back to Istanbul i will stay in stone hotel. Need to make variations for breakfast. For location, for sure I recommended. Groceries, pharmacy, restaurants near from Stone hotel. Cheers!

It is always tough to book lodging when you see pictures, read reviews and then make your decision. The good things - airport transfer organized for us, the breakfast, the location. The negative things - super hard bed, shower nozzle that wasn't operating properly, and not enough coffee/tea in the room (when requested that it be restocked) Not a bad...

The friendliest staff imaginable. Very nice location in the heart of the old city. We got a nice room with view of the ocean. I dont think the hotel has a restaurant but since there are restaurants at every corner it doesnt matter. Clean rooms and very nice breakfast.

This hotel is in a great central location, and for the price, you can't beat it. It's quiet and accessible. The receptionist Unis is amazing and very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was one of the best I had in Instanbul out of the three places I stayed at! The only downside was that our room was falling apart and...

The room has been great, always clean and spacious. Great service. Located near the Blue Mosque . I hung out with the employees. When I asked for tea, they brought me tea. The view from the top is amazing, and the breakfast is really nice. Though it's close to a lot of things, it is really quiet. We would stay...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

“Rooms on the south side are quieter. Corner suites are large and sunny. Higher floors have less A/C unit noise.”

“Many quiet rooms, depending on location, but average noise was not a problem at all. All have A/C, flat screen TV, fluffy towels, slippers. There is an elevator, but also a charming and romantic stone tower spiral staircase from the breakfast room at the rooftop to the main floor office.”
