A very nice hotel, realy nice staff. Always so happy people. The view frome the roof was amazing! The breakfaat was ok, and I realy loved the little cafeteria beside the reseption. To bad the cafeteria will be closet, and even sader that they will put up a suvernir store. I would recomend this to other people visiting istanbul.

Great staff, big rooms and aircondition! Very central location, right next to "The blue Mosque", Hagia Sofia and a lot of restaurants. Nice rooftop you can use whenever you want, and a great view. Very basic breakfast with bread, jam/cheese, eggs and coffee/tea.

Amazing location, right in the heart of everything. Very friendly staff, make great recommendations. Breakfast was great, however not always on time. Beds were nice, shared bathroom but they put us on a floor with no one else so it was great.

Over New Year's Eve I spent an unforgettable week in this cute, little hotel. Right from the start the hotel team's warm hospitality made me feel very welcome and comfortably accomodated. A plate with the typical Turkish breakfast (composed of olives, tomato, cucumber, honey, jam, cheese etc.) and coffe and tea made up the daily start for the time of...

My wife and I stayed at Med Cezir hotel for four days during new years and really enjoyed our stay. We see allowed to check in early after arriving on overnight transportation. The room was clean and luxurious. Especially for the price. There was Wifi in the room. Although it wasn't that great a connection, it was adequate for booking...

The location is ideal for visiting the old parts of the city. Could not have been more convenient! Clean, and well-kept, and the staff and owners were very kind and helpful with all questions I had. They went out of their way to help us connect to other travelers in our group and I felt I could rely on them...

From other reviews of Med Cezir I knew it was not that fancy with small rooms but very pleasant staff and an excellent location. This was exactly the experience I had as well. The hotel is very basic. The entrance and reception are nicely decorated but had limited space. The rooms are tiny with the bed taking up most of...

We spent here 3 nights and we loved it! The price was good, the breakfast wasn't bad and, for people that need it, the wifi connection was fast! Good location for a lot of touristic points and accessible by local transportation. The people were really helpful and friendly. We arrived really early in the morning, hoping that we can at...

We arrived to the hotel around 10 am before the check in time, and the owner welcome us and left us accommodate in our room straight away. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
