Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights. We had a really good time. The breakfast could have been a bit more varied but there can't be any complaints about the quality though. The beds were comfortable, the staff friendly and the service really good. I would surely recommend this place. The area is also bang in the centre...

Excellent hotel! To be honest, the best one I've ever stayed at. Perfect location, nice and cozy rooms, wide range of amenities and well-trained staff. Everything a tourist needs for pleasure and business. A very good hotel, indeed.

I stayed in this hotel 3 times already, staff is really responsive and polite, rooms are in very good condition, linen was white and perfectly clean, breakfast with lots of choices. They also provided me with airport transfer (not for free, but it was very convenient). Location is really great, it's 5 minutes walk till Saint Sofia and Top-kapi. About...

We stayed here in winter when it was much cheaper and we really loved it. We had great views spacious rooms and happy friendly staff. the walls were paper thin so if you like screaming don't stay here because you will upset the other guests.

We were very disappointed with our stay in Tria Hotel - in fact, it was the only disappointment of our trip to Istanbul. For starters, it's certainly not a 4 star hotel - we were looking forward to a relaxing week, staying somewhere comfortable and a little luxurious. The hotel rooms are fine with particularly good sheets - I would...

I only stayed at the Tria for two nights, but I wish I had stayed longer. It was a wonderful experience. It is located very centrally in the heart of Sultanahmet. First of all, when I got there the receptionist made me some Turkish tea and sat and chatted with me about Istanbul, giving me some helpful advice on sightseeing...

Perhaps if you pay the top rate and book a deluxe room this hotel would be okay, but as a solo traveler in a "standard room"-definitely NOT. The standard rooms overlook a backyard shared by a noisy bar or disco and your view consists of air conditioning units and balconies full of garbage...then there is the noise from same and...

We are a couple on our 30's. We had a nice stay at Tria in Jan 2010. The hotel is very small but cozy and it's in a perfect location, 3-5 minutes walking to the Blue Mosque, A Sophia and T. Palace. The deluxe room is not so spacious but comfortable and clean. A few nice bars and restaurants a...

I stayed here for only two nights but I can say this is a great place, the rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was also very good, and so is the location. I can't really find any flaws, will sure stay here again.

Could not ask for more from this hotel. I was worried at first as the taxi had problems finding the hotel which was down a small side street but once inside everything was fine. In fact the location was perfect as it was very quiet with no traffic to disturb you. A hot drink was offered even before we checked...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
