Visiting Istanbul for a few days and was looking to stay in Old City since most of the attractions are there. That's how I came upon Apricot Hotel - rooms look clean, location excellent, and price is very reasonable. Room The room is not huge nor is it luxurious but it is clean and has all the necessary stuff (place...

When you first arrive it is not hard to find. However, the door is locked and you have to ring the doorbell to get in. The hotel staff was quick to answer but it was a little strange not being able to walk in and out of the hotel myself. The room was clean and nice, I had my own...

Clean room & bathroom. Appropriate temperature. The staff are helpful & accomodating. However, one night is a little annoying because the walls are too thin & the room's not soundproof, distracting sounds were heard. The hotel is accessible to most tourist spots, we didn't have a hard time going & coming back. Near to nice restaurants and souvenir shops.

I have spent many happy hours looking at the quaint street from the windows of room one in the Apricot Hotel, and our most recent experience was not an exception. This tiny hotel continues to delight us. We love the charm of the design of the hotel, but the stairs have always been difficult for me. The new elevator makes...

This is a nice little hotel located In a good spot In Istanbul for several interesting sites. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the breakfast was enjoyable. The staff are all very friendly and the price is acceptable for what you get.

at about 45 USD per night this was a good, clean, friendly place with good wifi and good air conditioning. I was very happy with the Apricot. The breakfast was not the best….I think they could put out less items and take better care…if they had half as much variety but the items were more mouth-watering, then I would have...

An outstanding hotel with great value, great service and great breakfast. We were in the heart of old town Istanbul, the breakfast area overlooked a very scenic garden area facing the street. Our room, was quite lovely, old world style. The hotel does not have an elevator, we were on the second floor and I am now convinced all restaurants...

Stayed here one night as I rolled into town ahead of friends. My experience wasn't far off from that of previous reviewers. It was a very pleasant stay for $45. They put me in a first floor bedroom with queen sized bed. The room was cozy and comfortable. The floor boards were creaky, but I found that charming. The only...

We were given a nicely furnished room on the second floor of the hotel with large windows and an extremely spacious bathroom. The A/C worked perfectly and we could always count on the sunlight filtering in through the windows to light everything up. Our room was very clean and tidy and room service was perfect. This hotel is tucked in...

During our visit to Istanbul for the first time, and after spending 3 nights at Seres Hotel, A friend recommend this Apricot Hotel to us. We visited the large room and my wife likes it. We cancel the booking left nights at Seres and moved there to spend the rest of our trip. The price was better, no extra-charge for...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
