Detailed Reviews
Nea Efassos Hotel was easy to find with Google maps. We were met at reception by Ayla. What an incredible welcome from Ayla and her English is impeccable. Check-in was quick and the elder flower drink was a nice refreshing touch.
We stayed in the Artemis room on the second floor. A lift from reception carries you there, no stairs.
The room is quite beautiful, a very authentic Greek flair has been given to the rooms, from the frieze above the bed, the art work and the mosiac in the bathroom. Even the rubbish containers are in keeping with the setting.
There is a sizeable balcony with cafe style table and chairs and affords a great view over the town in the direction of Ephesus. At night you can see the Basilica of St John and the Selçuk castle lit up in the distance.
The room is comfy and individual air-conditioning available to cool or warm the room. Tea and coffee facility is provided for free and a mini bar/ fridge (chargeable).
The bed is very good and extra pillows are provided in the ample closet space.
Out on the front terrace is a good sized swimming pool and a smaller pool for little ones or those who just like to sit and relax.
Beside the pool is the large breakfast/ dinner area housed in a lovely conservatory again overlooking the town.
We didn't eat dinner here but we did eat breakfast which was immense. Seriously you will not go away hungry. A selection of meats, cheeses, olives, salad vegetables, eggs, jams, honey with cream, chocolate spread, bread, Turkish sausage the list goes on. Turkish tea of course and water.
An incredible two night stay and very convenient for visiting the tourist areas nearby but being able to retreat away to a little quiet area with the best views without the hustle and bustle of town.
Would definitely return here again I seen a heartbeat.
Thanks again to Ayla for her assistance and making us feel welcome. Hope to see you again.

We had a lovely one night stay at Nea Efessos. The room was excellent and the hotel was charmingly decorated. They have a delicious traditional Turkish breakfast.
But what left the deepest impression was the superb service. The night manager didn't just help with our luggage and check-in. He made us tea when we arrived, and helped us to order dinner when we were hungry (and unaware that the hotel restaurant didn't serve dinner). He didn't just deliver the dinner to us, but made the extra effort to plate the food beautifully and include a basket of fresh bread.
Kudos to the Nea Efessos team for the excellent service!

The setting was marvellous. As it is located uphill at the city border, it is a very calm environment and has a broad view over the city and the surrounding vineyards. The room was super clean, spacious and had a lovely design. The staff was very attentive and caring. Their English was excellent.
The restaurant was refined and delicious.
It exceeded out expectations.

The photos show this hotel are stunning.
The idea of the decor was excellent but it does need some TLC when you look closely.
The reception staff were rude. Breakfast was provided, as long as you had a hour to wait for the waitress to make it for you.
A pool is provided but it is at the front of the hotel. There area was full of rubbish which the hotel staff could clear to make the views a little better. There is no evening restaurant or bar/coffee shop and you do need a car to get anywhere and the car parking is out front on the road.

This hotel is the best hotel you can find if you were a solo traveler. The location is great. Close to bus station- to ephesus- to sirince village. The view is beautiful. The room is so comfortable. the hotel is so calm to chill around. The receptionist Umut and Kerem were so helpful. they are really generous and so nice and friendly. I was really happy with my stay.

The hotel overlooks the town Selçuk and the ancient city of Ephesus. The place is quiet and peaceful. We had an excellent Turkish breakfast in the morning. The manager was very helpful during our stay. I would recommend it if you are in town to visit Ephesus.

I was on a roadtrip along the Aegean sea with my Mom and Sister recently, and we were lucky enough to stay at this lovely boutique hotel on our very first night. The hotel is situated atop a small hill, overlooking some breathtaking views of the sunset. The rooms facing the sunset weee all snapped up, unfortunately, as we were there during the long weekend leading up to the Turkish national holiday. But boy oh boy did we enjoy our time there.
The room itself was very nice, to put it mildly. I don't know about the other rooms but ours had a beautiful Greek theme to it, complete with murals on the walls and Greek motif carvings in the bathroom. I had to constantly remind myself i was in Turkey, not Greece.
They have a spacious garden next to the pool and restaurant, along with very trusting and friendly bunny rabbits and fluffy cats to entertain the kids. The view from there was simply breathtaking. I cannot describe it with words. The light that hits the grounds was just too good to be true. I was told the evenings were dubbed the golden hours - the colours it produced was simply amazing.
Being up in the hills, the hotel is quiet, just perfect to put your feet ul at the end of a day spent exploring and travelling. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful and courteous. The breakfast spread sent to our table was amazing. We couldn't even finish most of it, and that is saying something coming from people who mow down food like hoovers.
All in all, despite the detour we had to take to get there (there was a saturday market going on), this charming little boutique hotel, along with the staff - both humans and furries - gets all the thumbs up we can offer. We will definitely return.

The hotel is at the top of the hill looking over the town towards Ephesus. A lovely quiet and peaceful area. The staff were friendly, rooms are neat, clean and sufficiently large. Breakfast was superior. I can only recommend making outdoor area more comfortable and convenient for the quests and finishing the renovations in the pool area.
