I can strongly recommend the friendly Homeros Pension if you are in Selcuk and seeking a guest-house environment. The brother-sister team who run the Homeros are helpful and welcoming, and both speak English (the brother very fluently). There are two large, comfortable common areas, in addition to the room where breakfast is offered, and a roof-top terrace -- and though...

Dervis' friend, Osman, picked us up at the bus stop. He was extremely helpful in arranging a guided tour of Ephesus and drove us to the site. He also drove us to the House of Mary and showed us through the site. He showed us the location to tour the site of the church of St. John the Apostle. In...

We were welcomed with open arms at this lovely, quirky place, and our room was lavishly decorated with wall coverings and all manner of trinkets. Food was excellent. Alice and her family were lucky enough to have visited this place 10 years ago. I think we'll be visiting again a lot sooner. Cannot recommend it enough!

Ideally located for a trip to Ephesus and also close to the restaurants, the bus and train stations. We had booked this hotel directly, as we found Dervis to be prompt in his responses and gave us a great deal. He was always there to assist, anytime of the day. The service is an absolute stand-out as they never say...

The hostel is located centrally at the town of Selcuk: it is very easy to get to anywhere, e.g. Ephesus, bus station and train station. In addition, it is at a top of the town, which means, on the one way, it has a panorama view of Selcuk; on the other, you need to climb up a little with your...

After all the rave reviews here, we were rather under-whelmed. We had the room in the picture above... it looks very charming when you first see it, but then we realized that with all the furniture and decorations, it didn't give us any room to unpack our belongings. And the space in the armoire was dirty. The walls are extremely...

Perfectly placed for visiting Ephesus and sites in Selcuk, this is a great little B&B. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, picking us up from the airport very late at night and arranging transport to Ephesus after a substantial breakfast. Everything was spotlessly clean and lots of interesting Turkish artefacts around created a nice atmosphere. also handy for bus station...

First we were shown several rooms to choose from, all were beautifully furnished in luscious old Turkish fabrics and artifacts. Then tea on the roofed terrace similarly decorated. Our hostess, Saziye, was as friendly and helpful as could be. The breakfasts were plentiful healthy and delicious.served in that beautiful terrace. The Pension is very well placed to sightsee. We felt...

THis is very much a family business. THey are all very friendly and helpful. THe rooms are furnished in what I assume is a traditional Turkish way - definitely not ikea. LOts of fabric but not at all dusty. THe location is super convenient, especially for public transport.

Since 1991 a popular place with travelers, run by Dervis with the help of his mother (she cooks great meals) and his sister Oya.
