Simple rooms, strong wifi, parking, good breakfast and an amazing view of Selcuk. Owner is totally friendly and is always willing to brew more coffee for undercaffeinated guests at breakfast! Great value for the price. Absolutely recommend.

This little gym is a great stay. No fancy rooms or extravagant breakfast but great service and friendly people! We arrived late (midnight) one night after getting the free AtlasJet bus up from Izmir and was dropped off in the middle of the town. Called the owner of Rilican and he drove down and picked us up and brought us...

Really calm, peaceful hotel with quiet courtyard and fountain, on a hill overlooking Selcuk. Pros: The owner is a warm, happy man who really makes you feel at home, and makes nice spiced eggs for breakfast in addition to the regular Turkish breakfast. Great views of sunset over St johns Basilica from the rooftop eating area. Clean, comfortable, budget price....

The hotel seemed more like a bed & breakfast than a hotel per se, but what made the trip memorable was the personal, family-like treatment we got from the family running the hotel. The patriarch, Ikhsan, is a very friendly man who has a good nature, big smile and a big heart to go along with it. He personally cooked...

Hotel Rilican is a true value in Selcuk! Set up on the hillside, your breath will be taken by the expansive views encompassing the Citadel of Ayasuluk, Temple of Artemis, and the Aegean Sea. The rooms feel almost like a B&B; clean and the beds are made with high quality linens. Food and wine service is available and highly recommended....

Simple, clean rooms, very basic but value for money. But what makes this hotel extraordinary has got to be the host and his family plus the view overlooking the charming town of selchuk. Be sure to catch the sunset at least one of the evenings you're staying there. Breathtaking, esp, for city slickers like myself. The baba of the family,...

I was extremely satisfied with my stay here. The rooms are very basic, but very clean, and I think they were good value for money. The hotel is located on the hill overlooking the town (although it's only a five-minute walk into the centre), and the service was great. I arrived just as the family who runs the place sat...

Very simple, yet clean and comfortable rooms. The real value of this place however, is in the stunning view of Selcuk and the hospitality of the owner and his family. They warmly welcomed us into their place, cooked us delicious home cooked meals and we even watched the Euro together over a Raki!! This place is really more like a...

We stayed 2 nights, really enjoyed the terrace and sunny garden, rooms were clean, tidy and good bathrooms, plenty of piping hot water for showers. The host family are very friendly and helpful. It is a short walk down into the town centre and sights in the city itself. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and really recommend it.

We are just back from 2 fantastic nights at the Hotel Rilican in Selcuk. We found this hotel accidentally and what a great find! We arrived to Izmir from Assos by bus then took an air conditioned mini-van to Selcuk....the trip from Izmir to Selcuk takes about 1 hour and cost 6 Liras per person. Hotel Rilican is located 10...
