The whole resort has seen better days. From rooms to restaurant to swimming pool to conference rooms. Location, outlay and the way it is run-down reminds me more of a 'summer camp' for kids groups or school classes. The friendly service of the staff makes up for what the Resort is lacking. I've been there about a year ago. Not sure if the whole Covid-19 situation has worsened it or things have improved since. Let's hope for the latter.

We were here with a large group for dinner. They accommodated us and another large group easily. We had Musakhan and it was so big I couldn’t finish it. The flavor and all the salads were wonderful. I bought some sumac in Jerusalem to hopefully recreate this dish. The staff are friendly and so helpful. They have the gift of hospitality and love serving people. We even had knafe for dessert!

we were there for a visit in bethlehem and the area. I was there with 5 other friends. we were 6 people and decided to take two rooms. 3 persons in each. they gave us the most far rooms in the resort. the rooms were old, and dirty, the sheets were torn and the beds where not comfortable. this was the most expensive amount of money we ever paid for a room in Bethlehem. I have to say we were there 3 years ago. same gang. and it was way better. I don't know what happened. anyway, we left the resort one day before the scheduled time because we were not satisfied. Breakfast was too poor and we didn't have enough. There were a Nigerian group in the resort at the same time with us and they were very noisy. they sang through the night and we couldn't sleep. a good thing to say about the place is the people in the reception. they were very helpful and informative. and the turkish cave, with hot sauna and shower. is a great experience.
