Wonderful location but the bedrooms are very basic. Breakfast is limited with just tinned fruit. For a pilgrim the accommodation is adequate but for the tourist the facilities need improving. Better services for bar and restaurant would be a good place to start.

We stayed here for two nights in January. It was very simple; expect more of a hostel or 2-star hotel by American standards but with standard room configurations. Our room had really hard beds and an amazing shower; my friends' room had super comfy beds and a troublesome shower...so there are pros and cons no matter what. The evening meal...

We just went for 2 expresso coffees and one tea, which were served in disposable cups. We were charged 100 shekels (26 US$). These people are scaring tourist away more than the whole Israel-Palestinian conflict!

This is a hard property to rate as it is really a pilgrimage hostel rather than a normal hotel. Rooms were pretty Spartan with very basic furniture, quite narrow and very simply painted. Bathroom was small with no toiletries beyond liquid soap dispensors. Woken at 4am every morning with the call to prayer and in the dark, the strong lighting...

Bethlehem 26-28 February, 2016 The New Casa Nova Palace Hotel Franciscan Pilgrims House Bethlehem Manger Square is well positioned hotel next to the Church of the Nativity on Manger Square with delightful paved outdoor courtyard area (too cold to use at my visit) and a generous foyer bar area, which were well all presented with great views from its cliff...

Our group of 5 stayed for five nights at Casa Nova the first week of March 2016. The accommodations were perfect for us. The rooms with ensuite bath were immaculately clean and we were given fresh towels each day. Free wifi was reliable. Breakfast and dinner were included and were always fresh and delicious. We were in the Holy Land...

You can walk to the Basilica of the Nativity from here. We love this place, it is so convenient. The room was clean and warm. The food they provided us are great. The only thing we did not like was about 4:30 AM and 4:30PM there were several speakers of Muslim people praying very loud toward our rooms.

This Franciscan guest house is beside the Basilica of the Nativity, the monastery built over the grotto where traditions says that Jesus Christ was born over 2000 years ago. The house faces Manger Square and the entrance to the St. Catherine Church and the the entrance to the Nativity Church, also known as the "door of humility" because to enter...

We stayed at the guest house with a friend and encountered very friendly staff, very basic but clean and pleasant rooms, and a prime location. We considered this to be of good value and would stay there again. Breakfast was rather basic, but its what was to be expected. Only minus in my mind is for the thin walls etc...
