I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a memorable stay in Haifa. it is very confidently located. It actually has private parking onsite and they do not charge you for it!!! Which is just amazing. It is really boutique as it only has 16 rooms. We were in a couple different rooms. Room #16 is a large room on the top floor. Loved it. Quiet. Roomy. Lots of closet space. Room #12 is a smaller room but equally well laid out and maintained. The rooftop jacuzzi and sauna are amazing to use at the end of long days of walking and seeing Haifa. And the breakfast. Worth every last shekel. Large does not even begin to describe. Masterfully prepared. One of their breakfast can easily hold a person until dinner. Flavors just flow. Lots of small tastings which combined with the breads, the salads, the eggs, the butter are truly a feast. And let us not forget the staff. Helpful. Friendly. Efficient.…
Parking is right in front of the hotel. It appeared that the entrance is on Moriah street(side street). mattress is soft. The breakfast has many offerings and there is a pleasant woman to help you with any additional requests. This is a wonderful value in a pricey city.
Our room was comfortable, spacious, clean and well appointed. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was terrific. There was so much to eat and it was all delicious. Of all the hotels in Haifa, this was a really great choice.
great hotel, clean, excellent location, rooms very spacious. sauna and hot tub on the roof parking available in front of the hotel and if is full - there are available spots nearby of public parking's. thanks to Elinor, Christina, Amichai and Stas for their excellent attitude and service.
This was my second stay , and the service , rooms place left us with a very positive experience . A second time the hotel manager went out of his way to accommodate us with early checkin late checkout and the staff were very hospitable
When I called the villa Wednesday night at 9:30 the phone transferred to the hotel manager Isaac at his home . When he understood ai had no where to sleep he guided me through the security system into the drawer in Réception where the master key was “ hidden “ to room 13 . He refused a tip I was force feeding him . The rooms are nice , spacious bathroom with good amenities ( better than Dan Hotels). Breakfast vouchers in a nice cafe . If you like small quaint hotels this is an excellent choice in a Haifa . Tel Aviv has nicer places at 3-4 times the price .
Our room was clean but it’s what we nicknamed “ the Expedia room “ The one the hotel gives to guests who don’t book with them directly. It needs a few simple repairs - wallpaper peeling, a fresh coat of paint would help. It faces the street and the entrance and there’s building going on there so not the quietest. The hardest part are the staff. Don’t like criticising but they are unfriendly and probably unhappy most of the time. No welcome- no smiles- no chatting period. If you are alone you might find it quite disconcerting. Don’t know what the issue is but certainly is reflected on their sulky faces.
Couldn't shower because the pipes broke down They moved us to other room. The water were sandy and brown. Dirty sheets, dirty wall and so expansive... The lady in the front desk was.... I don't even want to start. Long story short. After 3 days, two rooms and no shower we moved to Dan Carmel. We never got our money back but I'm just happy we didn't got sick from all the mold and dirt. I have no idea how the health ministry of Israel allowed this place to stay open
Clean room, comfortable bed. Amenities profusely offered in bathroom. Desk staff without exception outperformed. When served in the hotel as formally ordered, buffet type breakfast has been ample and varied. Maintenance of necessary accessories / utilities in the room leaves much to be desired. Such slack is often embarrassing to both guest who experiences it and to desk staff who attempts remedying. A quiet location & prime quality of staff at desk have the potential of providing better value for guest's money.
After a long drive we got to Villa Carmel Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and we could make use of the rooftop spa and sauna for free. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I loved all the Aveha products in the bathroom. Also there were free biscuits and coffee all day long. Breakfast was good. I would defo come back!
