Although the room was a tad small, the room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. Services and breakfast were good too but the best part was the beautiful views of Haifa from the room. Recommended to stay here.
Really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. We had the room with the view of the Mediterranean Sea.
Room is pretty small. Staff - very charming and helpful. Restaurant .. lots of variety and clean . Location is excellent . Very safe to walk at night and some stores open late night. Bought some wine and soft drink at reasonable price.
I was in Market Hotel in Haifa with a group of Pilgrim.Breakfast and dinner was ok with fruit and diferent art of typic izrael and arabic kitchen but room and bathrooms was very dirthy.Aircondiscion system was very noisy .
We were part of a tour group and for some reason our room was the only one not ready. I had my elderly mother with me and she needed to rest. At first we were told '10 minutes', so we didn't want to fuss said we'd wait. 30 minutes later still nothing, so we accepted their offer of a temporary room while ours was being readied. Just as well, because 2 hours later we still did not have our room! Even I could have cleaned a room in less time than that! It was inconvenient to have to unpack, shower, repack and unpack again in the actual intended room. The temporary room on the lower floors was old, quite dirty and not conducive to relaxing while waiting at all. The upside was that the actual final room was very nice and modern and on the top floor. They also sent us a fruit platter to say sorry, which was nice, but we ended up wasting most of our free afternoon based on incremental promises of '10 minutes' then '30 minutes' then 'soon'. When I asked the man who came to relocate us for a hair drier, he said: 'go and fetch it at reception'. Not cool. Breakfast was very nice and once you get over the strange entrance to this hotel through an arcade of shops and medical facilities, up stairs with no elevator, it's quite nice and quirky. It appears to be part of a community project where local people also live in the building as there are kids all over the place who play in the reception area and one of the elevators appears to be reserved for residents who live in the building. It's interesting but a bit weird when you first get there. They have drinking water and juice on demand in the reception area, which is very nice.…
This hotel doesn't seem like much on the outside but the main lobby is impressive, the rooms are breath taking, and clean, the only problem I had was that the washrooms were so modern that privacy was a little bit of an issue as I was sharing the room with another guy who I was paired up with the tour group that I was with. It was private but frosted glass!? Other than that I highly recommend this hotel. Oh and the view was out of this world!
Background: I was on a group tour thru Israel and we spent one night here. Room: bright and spacious. The bathroom was all glass, had a rain showerhead and nice amemities. The bed was large and had lots of room around it along with an open closet/storage area. Our view, incredible. You could see the whole city without being blinded by the sunlight. Layers of curtains helped keep the sun out when sleeping. Delecate touches made it feel like a boutique hotel worth a lot more. Service: Bags were brought into the hotel. Desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Great selection of hot dishes (eggs, pancakes), salads, and pastries. A self-serve coffee machine made me cappuccino and there were fresh juices. Couldnt ask for more. (Do yourself a favor and try the chocolate croissant) Would I go back? If I'm staying in Haifa again, yes! …
We liked our stay at Market Hotell, the staff was very nice and friendly and the rooms where clean an comfortable! we got water and fruits in the room as a welcome present and the view was amazing from the room - you could the the whole city! there are also alot of shops and life around the hotell which is nice.
This hotel was very comfortable as was the room. We were on the 16th floor and the views both night and day were amazing. Make sure you see the incredible Haifa Council Building shaped like a rocket - special architecture. The restaurant was very good as was the breakfast. Recommend.
Don’t let the entrance in a shopping mall put you off! The hotel is actually excellent recently renovated in a quirky style with clean, comfortable rooms with a wonderful shower room! The view is excellent (I stayed on the 17th floor) and the breakfast buffet very fresh!
