Loved the Bezalel. It's well-located (5 minute walk to Mahane Yehuda market, 20 minutes to the Old City), lots of very good restaurants nearby. Rooms were comfortable, service was good, and there is an evening wine hour (two hours actually) with a buffet of veggies, cheese, nuts, crackers, etc. Staff were helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
This was the best hotel during our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. From the moment you pass the door, you are warmly welcomed by the staff. Everybody was so friendly and helpful - big thank you to the Manager Ms Ayala who hosted us on the last day during Happy Hour. The hotel itself has the perfect location, close to everything. The room was comfortable, with a nice view. Coffee and tea facilities were available, also water and chocolate. Breakfast was amazing- rich and very delicious - plenty of things to choose from. Happy hour offers delicious wine, meal and snacks. We definitely recommend Bezalel Hotel to everyone!
My wife and visited Bezalel for one night for a small break from raising 1.8 year old twins (god bless their grandparents) The hotel is located in in a very central place, with great restaurants, caffes and bars, and 15min walk from the Mahne Yehuda market. The only con is that the only parking option is a pricy parking lot down the street The rooms are small but nicely decorated, equipped and clean. Nothing luxurious, but quite ok. The blanket could be higher quality for Jerusalem winter, and the shower is really small (and who still uses taps with different handles for hot and cold water?) Breakfast was good, both variety and quality and the coffee was great Was great value for money for a short Jerusalem visit
We spent two nights at the Bezalel on my cousin's recommendation. It is very well located in the heart of Jerusalem. At this point in our trip we opted to not choose the breakfast which is additional. The rooms and bathroom were tiny even by Israeli standards, with the bed taking up most of the room. The bathroom was closet-size. Still for the price paid it was decent value.
Small boutique hotel, in a great neighborhood. 5 minutes walk from the Machaneh Yehudah market. 15 minutes walk to the Old City. Classic rooms are small if you have a big suitcase. We then moved to a Classic Terrasse Room which was great. Room size ok, small shower but OK and big terrasse on the back of the building. The only problem is the sound insulation of the windows. The street noise is very present unfortunately.
This is a great hotel, about 20 mins walk from Damascus Gate with a modern trendy feel. They offer a happy hour at 5pm with free wine and nibbles and a sunny terrace. Breakfast was Israeli style with loads of choice. I have recommended the hotel to other friends likely to visit from the UK later in the year.
This is a wonderful hotel, ideally located near downtown Jerusalem and Mahane Yehuda, and with an extremely friendly and caring staff. Other than relatively small rooms, I have nothing bad to say about it. The rooftop seating area is wonderful, especially on warm and sunny days like we had. I highly recommend it.
Adi and Noa made extra efforts to help me obtain good tours to Jerusalem and Petra. The level of service was 5 STAR. This simple hotel is located a 4 minute walk from the light train stop, Ha-Davidka, which is three stops away from Central Station. Do not spend $200 euro to catch a car from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. Catch the train - it costs $6 US and takes 30 minutes with only the airport stop between. The rooms are cozy, clean and comfortable. The room had private climate control so it was very comfortable. The simple breakfast contained a 4 hot items and many cold items like hummus, tahini, cereals, fruits and chopped vegetables. There was also pastries and bread. I am so grateful for the service I received at this hotel. Thank you!
Came for a short visit in Jerusalem. The location is a great, a few minutes walking from Mahne Yehuda Market. Rooms are not big, but very convenient with a large bathroom, a safe and coffee machine. We enjoyed a happy hour in the evening on our arrival with complementary drinks, wine and snacks and a great breakfast as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Good location. Excellent staff. great amenities. Room was a bit small but include everything needed and was clean. Felt safe and enjoyed walking the neighborhood. Will stay again in ever in Jerusalem.
